  1. Yeah one replacement and math doesn’t count as a replacement so it’s a pass on that one. Math can be replaced but wouldn’t be count as a replacement if that makes sense. So it’s basically two replacements if you count math. Yeah NP im glad to help.
  2. No problem. If you’re trying to boost your GPA just do a higher class. Like eng 1121 for Eng 1101, A and P 2 for A and P 1 or child psy for psy 1101. Those can your replacement classes. Or a higher math. Good luck!! You got this.
  3. You can substitute one and there’s a pass on maths. So you can substitute math and one other class. No you can’t repeat if you had higher than a C But you can do the class that’s higher for English or psy
  4. If anyone has questions about the forms that come with the acceptance let me know.
  5. Congratulations guys and if you didn’t hear back don’t get discouraged because if someone doesn’t accept their acceptance you might be next in line to take the spot.
  6. Only in a situation where more than one person has the same pre req GPA and similar tea scores around the cut off line.
  7. Then I recommend taking micro bio with the nursing classes not during the Summer if you want FAFSA. But then next semester you might have a problem.
  8. Since you are getting FAFSA I recommend waiting on taking micro bio. Why? Because you can only take 2 nursing classes in one semester so it wouldn’t be 12 credits alone therefore your FAFSA would be affected. You would think being a step ahead is best but FAFSA wouldn’t understand even 11 credits would be a problem. First semester you can take child psy w your classes did you take that already?
  9. Yes definitely enjoy your Summer might be the last stress one you have LOL. Good luck I really hope you get in. Don’t be too worried. Stress free*
  10. That depends if clinical sites are allowing students back in again. Everything is limited. We have to vaccinated anyway doesn’t matter, it’s mandatory by CUNY. I took micro with first semester classes. I mean if you’re not getting FAFSA or need 12 credits every semester for aid, it’s best to take the nursing classes alone. You don’t have to take micro now it’s a second semester co req.
  11. Thank you. I wish you good luck and success. The physical exam, drug screening and background check forms are given with the acceptance letter and they give you enough time to get those done. We didn’t go to clinicals so they weren’t really mandatory. The CPR certificate as well but we did get a free training provided by the program. Most likely there won’t be on site clinical for first semester students.
  12. Thank you! Yeah you’ll get in for sure. Good luck!
  13. They said that last semester was the most competitive group of applicants. Just an fyi
  14. Pre reqs: Psy: A, A and P: A-, English: B, math: A TEAS: 65. But like I said it depends on the applicant pool. The cut off varies Yes it’s based off pre reqs GPA only.
  15. I mean that’s how long it took for the Spring I guess it’s different then. They did send ours 2 weeks before the semester started. The nursing program is so unorganized LOL but we are just wrapping up now and it feels good.
