  1. It's not negative...people don't want to be married and in a long distance relationship with their spouse!
  2. Don't try to romanticize this, most travel nurses are never home, they make a crap ton of $$ but they are insensitive and most of the time burnt out. If you don't have the $ or time to break away from home to see them you'll spend your entire time alone. A lot of travel nurses cheat on their partners because they are working with people who are closer to them all the time. You will not talk at the same time every day, and each time they come back they will want to do their life and not spend time with you. I think travel nurses need to be single because they certainly don't have time for a relationship. My ex was a travel nurse and she was awful with the amount of commitment she put into the relationship. It wasn't because she was a traveller it was because even when she wasn't travelling she was addicted to money and that became her only motivation. In 12 months I spent 7 months by myself, which I eventually got tired of and dumped her.
