Just got my acceptance call! So excited to meet you guys

I copied this from the interview invite email, basically the beginning says the committee knows we are familiar with devices, drips, vented patients and what not and then says this “Therefore, it is highly suggested that you be prepared to answer clinical questions related to nursing care in the critical care arena. However, it is difficult to determine in advance the exact questions that will be asked by the committee members, and it is anticipated that the interview will be brief” I’m assuming this means mostly clinical, not sure how in depth they go though since it’s only 15 minutes

Yay so exciting! On the website it says they accept up to 30, I’m assuming the number of spots is how many people they are interviewing.

I did, it said something along the lines of this course was for higher students or I can’t remember but I emailed -------------------- and emailed the office of registrar and was able to get signed up

I only got an email about signing up for the anesthesia course which opens June 28 closes July 1 and then interview invites will be sent out after you sign up is what the email implied

Hey Mike, I have a 3.63 GPA, gre 298, ccrn, fccs, preceptor, relief charge, 2 and a half years MSICU and took a grad stats course. Hoping you hear back! If not, doesn’t hurt to ask what it is that might boost your application, best of luck

Same!! I literally just got the email!! Everyone says they’ve been taking a minute to get back about our interview time so hopefully we hear back sooner rather than later??

I haven't received an email at all and so I feel like im just sitting here waiting LOL I ended up emailing someone just to ask about when I should expect an answer. on my fiu it still says deferred to department so im hopeful still

ICU dreaming about anesthesia: CRNA prep academy, it’s on facebook. It has a lot of great resources too if you pay for the membership online including insights on interviews for a bunch of schools

Haven’t received an email... hoping I will get one whether or not I get an interview that way I know. But hopeful I’ll get an interview

Yeah that is frustrating... I was hoping by the time I hear back whether I get an interview or not or even get in it will be early enough I can drop the class so I don’t have to pay that much for nothing haha

Weird, maybe just not the Summer then cause when I look at the classes I can apply to for this Summer it’s not one of them. How was the class?

I applied and received confirmation that my application was received about 3 weeks ago. I was told I can’t apply to the ANES 500 course until June 28 because it’s only offered in the Fall. Hopefully I get an interview, it’s the waiting that’s killing me
