  1. LOL.....and I just got my not selected letter. Thanks for answering my questions. Have a great day!
  2. Well, I just emailed following up on the status and/or if there was additional information that I needed to provide. I mentioned I'm still very interested in the position and sent it. LOL let's hope my "excellent reference" paid off
  3. Oh I didn't know that. I got a text from my supervisor a week ago that said they called and that she gave me an excellent reference but nothing yet (like I said it's just been a week). Although I recall during the interview one of the panel members said they only contact references of people they're interested in. In your personal opinion where would you think my application is currently?
  4. LOL at least you got an official tentative offer. LOL during the interview she said that "we only contact references of those who we look to hire" and then they called regarding a reference LOL so IDK if it's an underground way of saying "we want you" or what. I just haven't heard anything but I know that she also said they were looking to fill 2 spots so maybe if it takes awhile to bring 1 person in it may take longer to bring 2 in? LOL IDK I just want to have some assurance ? Geeze, I still haven't gotten an "official" TO LOL but would you think if they called me back and said they were impressed and tried hard to get a reference on me that has to count for something? LOL
  5. I applied on 3/31/21 the job closed on 4/5/21 got a call on 4/13/21 and had an interview 4/15/21 and got a call back the next day and they said they were pleased and impressed with my interview and wanted to contact my supervisor. My current supervisor per company policy cannot give a reference and they called me back on 4/20 asking for my former supervisors info to call and the next morning my former supervisor texted me and said the VA called her and she gave me an "excellent reference" and it's been a week and I haven't received anything and the listing still says "referred" LOL does anyone have an idea what's next? Is this a good sign? I know it can take time but it seemed like they were contacting me pretty quick and now it's gone dead (even though it's just been a week LOL) if anybody has any insight it'd be greatly appreciated. LOL and hope everything panned out for you as well
  6. Thanks so much!! Yeah, it's kinda made me nervous because everything has been speedy until now. I know there are other applicants and 2 openings, but it's usually a good sign when they call you back saying there were pleased and impressed with your interview and then try so hard to get your references contact numbers and contact them like the next day But nothing is set in stone yet, I guess LOL
  7. Any luck yet?? I just interviewed last Thursday and got a call the next day and said they were impressed and pleased with my interview and they need a reference from my supervisor. About 2 or 3 business days later my supervisor texted and said she gave an excellent reference of me and I'm just waiting...LOL any insight?
