  1. Is anyone going to be attending LIU Brooklyn's BSN program for Fall 2021??? I am currently looking for a FB group but can't seem to find anything!
  2. Hey yall, just got waitlisted ?
  3. One of my friends applied for Fall 2020 last year and got rejected but she said she heard back in late March into the first week of April... I've been waiting for weeks now so I guess we just gotta be optimistic that we haven't gotten a rejection thus far. Hopefully this means something for us since we're still waiting! ?
  4. Mine’s been greyed out for a few weeks now too and still no decision.
  5. Thanks for sharing! My GPA/stats are identical to yours except I didn't know we could use our Chem 2 grades?! I'm also currently a medical scribe too.. hopefully I hear back soon this waiting is killing me!
  6. Congratulations on your acceptances! If you guys don't mind sharing, what were your stats?
  7. My checklist has been gone since last week but nothing new yet :( this is so nerve wrecking!!
  8. Thank you for the words of encouragement! I guess I'm just letting the anxiety get to my head because I've been checking the application portal every day for updates LOL but I really appreciate it! ?
  9. Hi everyone! I am 22 years old and I am currently waiting to hear back from nursing programs for the upcoming Fall 2021 semester as a second-degree student. I'm really only waiting on NYU's 15-Month ABSN program as I already got accepted by LIU Brooklyn's Regular 2-Year BSN program. The tuition between these two schools are relatively close in range (roughly 20k a semester). I'm not really confident about getting into NYU even though that is my dream school and I'm currently conflicted about whether or not I should just wait another year to retake certain pre-reqs and reapply for the round of applications in the Spring/fall 2022. I'm only saying this because I only applied to 3 schools for the Fall and I didn't give myself more options to choose from (I feel like I rushed it and only applied to certain programs that did not require the TEAS). If I am going to pay the same amount to go to a school that I am less enthusiastic about (LIU), I feel like I'd rather wait and reapply to more options? But many people are telling me that I should be grateful that I even got into anything... so I'm not sure if I should just stick with it and just finish nursing school earlier than waiting. These are my stats: Undergrad GPA = 3.12 Prereqs: A&P 1/2, Microbiology, Nutrition, Stats, Psych, Sociology = As Chem 1 = C, Chem Lab = B My letters of recommendation are from the physician and site manager from the private clinic that I currently work in as a Medical Assistant (been there since July 2020 roughly 9 months now) and I also volunteered in Bellevue Hospital during the Summer of 2018. Is there anyone that is currently in LIU Brooklyn's Nursing program that can give me some insight on the program as well as what my chances are for getting into NYU (I heard they're pretty holistic when it comes to applications...) or any general advice for what I should do? I just feel so overwhelmed and need some guidance.
