  1. I received a request early last month but it wasn't UCI specific (just UC in general). They asked for an unofficial transcript for just one community college I went to (out of multiple).
  2. You're not kidding about the UC-required prereqs, I feel like I've been in school an extra year just to satisfy those requirements. This current Spring is my last semester of UC prereq classes (3 classes). My cumulative GPA is ~3.90, science GPA is ~3.95. I have a few thousand hours as an emt (on an ambulance and as a firefighter), plus other experience from various jobs. Speak 3 languages, and lots of extracurricular & volunteer. I also realized after the fact that my PIQ's have a few typos. Oops. I honestly have no idea how it could go; all I could do is spend too much time focusing on the stats of 400 applications and only 10 admitted transfers. Can't imagine there are 390 "bad" applicants, I'm sure a majority are amazing and diverse superstars. So who knows what the UC's want.
  3. Also a 2022 BSN transfer applicant. Has anyone received any updates? I haven't heard a peep about my application and don't see any updates. Just curious what the status is.
  4. Hi all, If anyone else is applying to UCI's BSN program as a transfer student let's discuss the process here and stay informed. Right now applications are open but not available to submit until next month. This program has many more requirements over other schools making it less popular (which is fine with me given how difficult admission into the program can be) so I'm not expecting a large turnout here but just in case, this is an available resource. Hope to hear from you all and wish you the best of luck!
