I am taking Hula right now. I had to take one class to save my spot for Spring. I took Hawaiian Studies at UHM already. If you look on your degree works it says upper division writing and values. Mine has the same thing. I am assuming it’s like UHM and it’s in the actual nursing program when you are doing research papers.

This is my degree works and it has theses two writing classes that I need. But as I was looking I guess I already took a research writing class before. So I think theses classes are in the program itself. But might be wrong.

Yes I got it and I love it ? I also added the flash cards I got in without having research writing.. at Uhm theses classes you take when you are in the nursing program. Hpu said whatever classes I still might need I can take them in Summer. On my degree works it shows two writing classes that I still need, but I can’t seem to find them as courses to take. So I am thinking they are part of the nursing course like Uhm. Congratulations ???

I was looking at my acceptance email and came from the BSN program it’s self. Did you email them and ask when the email should be sent out.. I was constantly emailing them ?

I am in program so thankfully over the TEAS and I am also following Brandon’s craft he is great Going to pay and do a private session with him.

You definitely have a higher GPA. Mine is not that high not even with just the prerequisites.. my TEAS was just slightly higher. But I had great recommendations letters and my essay was very good. My essay letter I worked really hard on and have been told that it was memorable essay. Sometimes that’s all it takes I really hope you all get in… I need some study partners !!

Don’t give up hope you guys!! This is my second year applying to schools and I wanted to give up so bad! But I kept on applying and its finally happening. Keep your eye on the prize! My nerves were getting to me and I thought it would go away after I got in but now I am even more nervous ? LOL if you want it bad enough it will happen!! Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!

No … every one gets two acceptance one from the college that says prenursing and the other will be from the nursing program.. you get two acceptance.

sorry for the delay just seen this .. but yes I noticed that mine switched as well before I got my email .. but could not register until I got the email saying that I could now register .. did you try to register for classes?

I have a friend and she just got an acceptance to the college but nothing yet that she got into the program

Some of us got an early acceptance.. I applied for fall and did not get in. But I got an early acceptance for Spring and I yes I was able registered on Friday.. they sent an email out saying they switched my prenursing to BSN and was cleared to register for classes…

I would since they will see that in your transcripts I think bringing any hardships that you may have had is a good idea and like you said how you will change it

The TEAS I got an 89.3 I have no clue how I did that ?? I must of had an ? on my shoulder LOL I have horrible test anxiety and I also have a learning disability:/ I am so scared about the tests already, been practicing my dosage calculations to be ahead of the game

Hi I did not have a high GPA. It was only 3.45 but I am 47 and have life experience, also I worked on my letter I passed it around to a couple of people that I trusted and edited it a couple of times before I felt comfortable sending it. I also had two very good recommendations one from a bio teacher and another from a job I had working with the elderly. To be honest I did not think I was going to get in because of my GPA going down during covid. I am not a online learner!! Don’t give up! The personal statement is very important and you need to stand out. Make memorable!
