  1. Nurse psychotherapist

    Hello, I have a BA in psychology, a BSN and have worked in psych nursing for most of my nursing career. I would love to go back to school to be a nurse psychotherapist, as I think it would combine my nursing skills and love of psychology. Also, the pay for nurse psychotherapists with a Master's degree level is higher than that of a therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc). Are there any psychiatric NPs who have gone on to specialize as nurse psychotherapists, and what tips do you have for success? Thank you so much for your help! ?
