Hello! Glad to hear you’re interested in applying for the case management program! Honestly, I would say to make the prompts very personal to you. Everyone wants to “help people” when wanting to be a nurse/ doctor but why is this specifically something that you’re interested in? Maybe relate it to family members or your own personal health. Do some research on RN case management and tie it into your answers. I had a year-two years of clinical experience when applying. Having knowledge on what it exactly is and why it’s important will make you stand out as a candidate and show your drive. Let me know if I can help further. Good luck!

Yeah. It wouldn’t make sense to get a masters in CM and then another masters for NP.

Hi friends! I got accepted into the Oakland ELMSN fall 2021 and asked to defer my admissions until Spring since I live in Sacramento. Oakland would’ve been a hell of a drive for clinicals/labs so they allowed me to start in Spring instead! Hopefully I get to meet you guys! Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions. Does anyone know if we get to pick which classes to take or we’re given the classes since the curriculum is shown on the website?

Hi friends! I accepted my seat for CM and got the email on the next steps. If you want to get ahead, I would recommend visiting their website and checking under the post- admission section. Also, submit a FAFSA regardless of it’s dates/deadlines!! After paying the deposit they’ll send you an email with additional steps and most of them are listed on the website already! Also, I’m wondering am I the only one moving from SoCal!? Good luck to everyone, can’t wait to meet you all.

Hi guys! If anyone finds an affordable online CPR BLS program please let us know. God knows we need to save every penny during these next two years. The one the school recommended is a bit pricey. We can get it from any provider it just needs to be AHA certified. Btw, has anyone else submitted their Letter of Intent? Congrats to us all and good luck to everyone waiting to hear back!

Makes sense. I think we would probably only come to campus once a week I’m assuming for either simulations or for clinicals in the area. For first semester!

Ohhhh so once a week for first semester?! When I spoke to my interviewer, she said that the classes portion is fully online as of right now due to COVID. She also mentioned that due to the new UK variant they aren't expecting to go back on campus for quite some time to teach in person. I'll shoot out an email and get a for sure answer!!
