  1. Hey FYI my username is going to change..against website rules so don't be confused!
  2. So I know it was alot but did you feel (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) was good? Flexible? Did you have alot of homework other than tests and quizzrs?
  3. I have considered it. It's more expensive to go that way and I currently make more than an LPN but I plan on looking into it. I just may need to push back my application to give time for me to retake the class if I don't get anywhere with the transcript evaluation. I just need to take a breath and not rush it. I've been out of school a looooooong time, and I enjoy having weekends to play LOL. The LPN program is 18K!
  4. I have teenagers and an elderly mother...full time job in a laboratory with call rotation 7 days at a time for crossmatches (organ transplant). Sometimes I get no sleep for a couple days. Stats is way easier than A&P
  5. Hmmm. OK. I will look for her for my next class. My advisor recommends I ask for a meeting with the admissions people to re-evaluate my transcript..apparently "terms" are not something they see often? So maybe I can petition for a few more points. But I don't think I have the bandwidth for this 8 week class. Seems like despite no waiting list, it still takes 1-2 years to get into this program..sigh.
  6. Did you work full time too? Im just looking at this schedule and I don't think I can swing an A out of this. She even made us take a syllabus quiz for points! And made it tricky! I may just wait until fall to take a regular class. I don't have 6 hours a day for one class...
  7. Did either of you have a good teacher for Bio 202? I enrolled in an 8 week class hoping to get rid of that B but I don't think its going to work for me. The workload is too much and the teacher seems tough.
  8. So my A&P was taken in Oregon where they have 3 terms in a typical year instead of 2 semesters. It's the same amount of coursework just broken into 3 parts. I got an A, B, and A. When Pima evaluated my transcript, they counted the first two terms as semesters and then added the third term as some kind of extra class. This concerned me because I knew the B would kill my score. I never got an answer from my advisor about it so she is going to look into my score for me. Im guessing the only way to get in is to retake 2nd semester even though I got 2/3 A for the year. I have a BS in Biology so my class levels exceed the requirements, but having a degree in Science doesnt get me anything more than an associate degree in basket weaving LOL!
  9. I got a response from my advisor so hopefully can find out what my scores looked like. I will most likely end up taking an AP class again this Summer..:( also may look into volunteer opportunities but I work and take call and have kids so I have no spare time. Ugh. And this program is supposed to be working friendly?
  10. That is ridiculous. There are people in the advising office giving out incorrect information. I wonder if they give more weight to those who got rejected once already? Maybe why they don't give your points? So people don't compare? Ajsherfi did you have all A's in your prerequisites?
  11. So I didn't get in..but am rather pissed that they didn't show my score. It's just a blank rubric form for me to calculate for myself, which I was unsure of...now I have to try and get an appointment to figure out what I need for next time. Congratulations Ajsherfi!
  12. OMG Im at work right now..Im scared to look! I don't want to be bummed out all day...
  13. Wow well hopefully you are right! It would be nice to have a backup alternative if things don't work out. Keep us posted! It is so frustrating that even with 3 advisors now they still don't respond. I first started looking into this in 2018 and there was only one advisor and she was never available. I finally got an appointment with her and when I got there she had left early! Doesnt seem to be any better now.
  14. I thought you have to be accepted into Pimas program in order to be considered for ASU, NAU, or GCU. I think they are partnered with Pima.
  15. I was really hoping we would know before Spring break! This is horrible!
