  1. Hey all, I am planning to begin my RN prerequisites and want to jumP in and start with my junior college’s early Summer session which is 4 weeks and starts in May. The second would be either 6-8 Weeks. I want to get a class or three out of the way (I don’t know what the rules are as to how many I can take during the longer Summer term). In a perfect world I thought I could take two over the Summer and three for fall semester and three for the Spring semester but that might be delusional? I figure the only way I could do that is to take a science class for each Summer term so that I can take the last two for the two regular semesters. Am I crazy to even think this is possible? I welcome any and all advice as far as where to begin, what classes I can feasibly knock out during Summer and what order/combination I should plan to take everything! Obviously I want to get these done ASAP but I don’t want to set myself up for failure, either. If it helps, these are the prerequisites my program requires (see attachment). Thank you!!
  2. Hey guys, It may be a long shot- but I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with taking Straighterline courses (RN prerequisites) and transferring those credits to Merced Junior College? Is this even possible? I’m worried it’s not because I had asked the advisor if CLEP was an option for any classes and she said no. I’m waiting for yet another phone appointment with an allied health counselor but I figured in the mean time I could ask here as it seems like you guys are super helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you!
