  1. My husband and I currently live in south Philly but are currently looking to move closer to campus so either Center City West (25-30 min walk from campus) or around Powellton Village (less than a mile from campus and very walkable).
  2. Great news that the waitlist is opening up now! Recently received a call and offer! Had to decline in favor of another offer but best of luck to everyone still waiting!
  3. Received notice of acceptance off the waitlist last week (woohoo) and wondering if any one else who’s newly accepted has received any FinAid info yet? Also can anyone (current or attending soon) speak to what’s typical for aid from Penn?
  4. That’s helpful. When did you interview? I was late Jan. Waitlisted Jan 26th
  5. Ah OK that’s helpful! Thanks for the update
  6. Based on last years thread, I was expecting an email today regarding remaining on the waitlist. The closer we get the harder it seems to patiently wait LOL
  7. Yea I saw that as well! I’ll just be over here holding my breath haha.
  8. Just wondering if anyone got back to you? Wondering the same thing!
  9. No. Nothing specific really. Just that I should check back with them etc. Also asked very specific questions like about the number of people typically accepted off the waitlist or the number of people accepted from the list last year and didn’t get a specific answer, but I think I should know by March. Hopefully sooner ?
  10. Decided to stay on the list. I’m learning that it being full in January doesn’t mean it’ll remain full so there’s hope! Please let us k is what you hear after your interview
  11. Got it and thanks for sharing. I was trying to determine whether or not that was something different what I received. It sounds like it might be. I received notice following the interview that the CC campus was full and that the app was on the waitlist where the choice could be made to remain on the waitlist, should a spot become available, or get considered for another campus. This sounds like maybe a diff email from what I received. Thanks for the info! Every insight helps my busy mind. Praying die good news soon
  12. What did the email say? Did it give options for the other campuses? Just curious about the phrasing. Did you also apply?
  13. Congratulations! That’s really great! How long was the window to decide? A couple weeks or kore like a couple months? Thanks again
  14. Got it! I looked at old forums too and saw folks reporting getting off the waitlist on March 23 last year. Someone, who I don’t believe got in, was saying they’d still not gotten a decision as of March 28th. I also noticed around about the first week of March people had examined their FinAid packages and were deciding not to attend. Hope that helps. If you’re like me you’re just gathering information and any info I’ve found has been helpful for me (mentally) so far. Hope this helps even a tiny bit! Good luck
  15. Wow this was incredibly helpful for so many reasons. I really appreciate it and thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience. I have the pre-requisites that are required for an admissions decision, but my application says they need to see my Microbiology grade and nutrition grades before making a decision. This was confusing because when I spoke with them during the application process, I was told that as long as I had both A&P courses (I’ve got both) and either Chemistry OR Microbiology, they would make an admissions decision. They told me to submit my transcript once I finish MB and nutrition in May which I’m taking now, to be further considered. I’m worried that the program might be full by then. Plus, I was originally told that wouldn’t be a problem so I’m confused as to why it’s an issue now. Your story was really helpful! Thanks again!
  16. Similar experience. Have you found any info about the waitlist process for this program? I know we just got this info last night but I’ve been searching ever since LOL
  17. Thanks Meg! That’s really helpful! I just sort of collecting info since getting a waitlist decision and was curious when accepted students needed to be making their decisions. Thanks again and huge congrats on your acceptance!
  18. Did you ever hear back? I was told to submit my transcripts after I finished the class I’m currently taking then I’d get an admissions answer as long as they weren’t full. Puts me in a very ambiguous spot. Not sure where I stand or what my chances are with that information.
  19. That’s awesome! What did the waitlist process look like? We’re there any stipulations around it like them wanting to see something else (pending transcripts with pre-read for examp) or sis they say they were full so you were placed on the waitlist in the event a spot opened up? Trying to figure out how it was framed. Any info would be helpful ??
  20. Received this same message. Was even more confused after Googling the “waitlist” process for UPenn. I found a bunch of stuff that more or less said that few people are admitted off the waitlist. Granted that was a stat for the whole school and could mean nothing here. So I don’t know what that means for this program in particular. Have you found any info around this programs waitlist? # of people on this waitlist vs # of people accepted would be helpful. I’m refusing not to give up hope LOL. Good luck to you with everything as well!
  21. Does anyone know how much time Penn gives you to make a decision as to whether or not you’ll be accepting your offer?
  22. Hi! Would you mind sharing the parameters they put around accepting the offer? We’re you given a “decide by” date?
  23. Did they give you a time limit for accepting or declining your offer?
