Don’t feel discouraged . I’m the last person I felt who should’ve got in but I did. My GPA overall was 3.25 so not too strong I really messed up my freshman year. So I decided to do really well and step up for my science courses and My prereq science GPA was 4.0 . I did volunteer work basically everywhere and became a CNA. I got my bachelors in public health. Trust me this is a long journey and we’ve all faced rejection. Didn’t get in UCLA or Fullerton . I felt so defeated but please don’t give up . You seem like a wonderful person so please stay strong ! I believe in you ?

Okay let’s be positive here especially for those who got in. No need to bash them . They are trying their best in a weird Covid time . They obviously weren’t staffed and overwhelmed by applicants so let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. They are only human ?

My stats I was asked to do a video and believe it was viewed entirely. My prerequisites GPA was 4.0 and my undergrad GPA was 3.25. I have been a CNA for over a year but I’ve had my license for four. I have 100 hospital volunteer hours. And 50 hours of non medical volunteer hours. I wrote about the passing of my husband and how it inspired me to become a nurse when I realized the last person with him on this earth was probably a nurse. I’m so thankful it’s been a long journey here . Thank you God ! Congrats to everyone! This was the only school so far I’ve gotten into . Can’t wait to meet you all !
