  1. thanks everybody, the results i looked at were the "unofficial" results but i dont think that matters. so how long do you think it will take for me to get a license number. the state i applied in is Idaho.
  2. actually i was a little discouraged becasue i was getting around 55-65% on all the practice tests. but i think that becasue the questions were so much like the actual NCLEX questions that i didnt feel uncomfortable taking the test like i was the first 2 times. i will write a review of my experience of the kaplan course. but i would definatly recommend people take it if they are thinking about it.
  3. I PASSED!!!, i am so unbelievably happy. failed first time at 150, failed second time at 85, passed 3rd time at 87. I took the Kaplan course and that course completely turned me around. incredible course. helped me a lot. TIME TO CELEBRATE!!:monkeydance::monkeydance::balloons::balloons:
  4. Today i retook the NCLEX and was stopped at 87 questions. last time i took it i was stopped at 155 questions. while studying for the retake i retook the HESI and improved from a 640 to an 860. but the test still seemed hard to me. lots of meds ive never heard of, lots of priority questions, LOTs of teaching questions. had to make quite a few educated guesses. im worried i didnt pass again. what do you think?
  5. so im retaking the NCLEX on Wed 21st and i am feeling pretty good about it. i just have a few questions though. im struggling with the things i should have memorized going into the test. things like Lab values, electrolytes, Meds. what are the things i should have memorized walking into this test? Fast help would be appreciated.
  6. i had 155 the first time. thx for the help so far. ill check saunders. i have that book but i dont have my fundamentals of nursing book anymore.
  7. i am gearing up to retake the NCLEX in a few weeks and i am trying to find a really good resource for infection control guidelines. anybody have a document or something that can lead me in the right direction. im starting to stress but im keeping a much more open mind abou it this time around. thx.
  8. I cant believe it. I failed the nclex and now i have to go through the stress and turmoil of doing it again. i am starting to formulate a plan for doing it again but i have a few concerns about other aspecs of post failure life. I have some financial concerns that were relying on the passing of my nclex. what can i do? i was working as a Nursing Technician during school but that is expired now and i cannot renew it. what about an LPN? is it difficult to get that licencure? im just really stressed now and i dont know what im going to do.
  9. well i just got out of the test. the computer shut me out at around 130. i really feel bad about it. there were lots of drugs that i had no idea about. im really worried. the only thing that i can do now is wait and pray.
  10. Hello everybody. I am lining up to take the NCLEX for the first time on tuesday and i am getting the pretest jitters. i have been mainly studying the Saunders questions because i was told that saunders has the more difficult question set. my question is this? when you were doing saunders Exams and quizzes, what scores were you getting and how did those questions correlate to your NCLEX exam. i have been getting in the mid to high 60's on the 100 question exams and 7-9 on the 10 question quizzes. do i have a decent shot at passing. Im getting increasingly stressed about this test. thx. Tony
