Thank you! I’m semi-bilingual in a very specific dialect of my culture (I can fully understand and read, but can’t speak) which is honestly no help LOL ? However, I know basic Spanish and my husband can conversationally speak in Spanish so we’re both thinking about continuing with lessons so we can become proficient. Since the program doesn’t start for about another 6 months I’m thinking I might as well make great use of my time!

Yes, but the confirmation email with next steps came 2 days after paying the deposit. I ended up going onto the admitted student portal to continue completing the next steps of enrollment (like the background check, drug screening, etc).

I’m feeling exactly the same! I knew a couple of people who finished the program and they mentioned that their tuitions were funded primarily through loans. I emailed financial aid about a week ago and haven’t heard back from them as well ?

I think it’s a bonus, but not a make or break! I was just curious ? I got into the CM program and I’m not (fully) bilingual but I’m thinking about learning!

From what I remember (so don’t quote me on this ?)... she said that she expects clinicals to start off at once a week and then twice a week the term afterwards although I’m not sure which term it actually starts. She did mention that it’s all TBD at the moment due to COVID so things could definitely change!

Not yet! I'm anxiously waiting for that too. During my interview, she had mentioned that clinicals would be widely disbursed all throughout the Bay Area.

Hi! Has anyone heard of SM extending the application deadlines for the ELMSN FNP and/or Case Management programs? I noticed that some deadlines were extended in previous threads. Also, I'll go ahead and list my stats below as well: Required Courses/Prerequisites GPA: 4.0 Science GPA: 4.0 Last 60 Units GPA: 3.4 TEAS: 92% UC Davis grad + 2 years healthcare experience, though I feel that not being bilingual will kill my chances!
