Hi everyone, I'm about to graduate from a nursing program and Washington State, but I'll be moving to California in the Summer. My plan is to get licensed by endorsement in the state of California. I saw that they require an oral communications class. I took small groups communication at my local community college. Will that be enough to meet the communications requirement?

Hi did you have any trouble meeting the course requirements for communications? I took a small groups communication class in Washington State, but I'm worried it won't suffice.

I’m also worried about how much more competitive it will be without prior education points and the essay. It used to be that the essay was the biggest factor they looked at. My GPA is slightly over a 3.9 so I’m hoping it will help. I also finished nutrition, communications, and Microbiology.

I applied! I feel like my application is pretty strong. I’m a bit worried about my TEAS score which was 84.7. Good luck to you ☺️
