  1. I heard back on April 16th for the Fall AG-ACNP program and was waitlisted. I already committed to Columbia for the Summer, so I withdrew myself from the waitlist! I’m not sure if there is a deadline; I think they do rolling admissions/decisions. For reference, I submitted my application back in December.
  2. Hi! I was just curious if anyone attending the DNP program had received anything in the mail from Columbia. I was hoping to get more official news as far as start date, schedule, clinicals, etc.!
  3. Coincidentally, I heard back from NYU later on yesterday for the Fall 2021 AG-ACNP program. I was waitlisted, but I already placed a seat deposit at Columbia, so I emailed admissions to have myself removed from the waitlist! Good luck to everyone still waiting!
  4. Nope, nothing! I am planning on attending a different school that starts in June because I just can’t count on hearing back from them!
  5. I applied to the ACNP program for this Fall. I emailed admissions and they said they will begin to release decisions for Fall 2021 in the next few weeks, so I’m really not sure when that would be!
  6. I'm personally applying for per diem positions in the city now (I live in NYC but am currently out of state for a travel assignment), that way I can work as much or as little as I need to since I'm not sure what to expect! I don't have a facebook, but I'm excited to meet you all! I'm putting down my seat deposit for AG-ACNP today!
  7. Not to change the subject from Columbia, but I saw a few people here had heard back from NYU? When did you get a decision from them? I submitted on 12/28 and haven’t heard anything!
  8. I haven’t seen another thread for NYU! I was wondering the same? I was accepted to Columbia’s program, but I wanted to compare costs, financial aid, etc granted I get accepted to NYU as well. I emailed admissions today to see if it was possible to get a timeline for a decision. I submitted my application back in December.
  9. Sure! I have 2 years work experience in ICU (Level I Trauma/Academic Hospitals); I also worked in research (pre-clinical). I have my CNRN and SCRN certifications.
  10. It is my first choice, and I’d like to attend! I’m going to email NYU about an ETA for a decision, mostly to compare how much more expensive Columbia would be if I get into NYU as well. But I have a feeling I will choose Columbia regardless! :) Also, to everyone still waiting, I didn’t check my email until after noon, so I saw all the allnurses comments along with an email from Columbia about decisions posted in the portal. It looks like I got my email from Columbia like an hour after the people first posting about decisions, so I wouldn’t worry too much!
  11. Also accepted with merit scholarship! :)
  12. Hi! I applied for the AG-ACNP specialty back in December; I have not heard a peep yet!
  13. Has anyone heard any updates from admissions regarding when they plan on releasing decisions? This waiting is excruciating! LOL
  14. My heart broke a little bit reading that ?
  15. Hey guys! My application still says “submitted.” Was curious if anyone has heard anything from admissions or has heard when they plan to release decisions? From what I’ve seen on earlier threads, this is unusually late for them.
  16. Sorry for the late response! Looking at the threads here, I think NYU historically releases decisions in March as well! It’ll be a long wait for me! LOL thank you so much!
  17. I have not heard anything from admissions, but I do remember on the AG-ACNP application page it lists March 2021 as when decisions will be posted: https://www.nursing.columbia.edu/programs/doctor-nursing-practice
  18. Got my email today that application materials are complete, and it’d be forwarded to admissions.
  19. Mine still just says “submitted” as well! No email about my application materials being all in or being forwarded to admissions yet!
  20. I have just two years ICU experience! Currently travel nursing as covid ICU relief/ICU float! I have not received an email yet about my application going to admissions committee or even being complete, it just says “application submitted” with the date I submitted on.
  21. I applied only to Columbia and NYU, my top 2 choices. Essentially, I didn’t think I would finish my online RN-BSN as quickly as I am, so I hadn’t planned on applying until the 2022 cycle. If I don’t get accepted, I will apply more broadly for next year!
  22. Hey guys! Thought I'd start a thread for Columbia DNP hopefuls. I applied for the June 2021 cycle for the AG-ACNP specialty. Would love to hear from others while waiting for decisions!
