  1. Ugh, I'm so sorry you guys didn't get in ?. Like Stephanie2 says though, don't give up!
  2. Same here! But holy cow, all of the health requirements including CPR cert are due back by March 29th! Did it say anywhere on the web page that those would be due so soon? I'm not too concerned about the immunization stuff, but I'm not sure I'll be able to find a CPR class in time given current covid restrictions!
  3. This is driving me nuts. When will they tell us!?!? I realize the application period only closed yesterday, but....argh! Also, , the row for my Anatomy and Physiology requirement was STILL not filled in on my application summary, but I have been assured by multiple people at the school that they have all my information LOL. I'm sure they do, and I'm crossing all of my fingers and toes for all of us!
  4. eeeeyaaaaah! Only about one week and counting! I hope we find out sooner in March rather than later!
  5. I've found that doing pretty much the same thing all the time, due to covid limitations on fun things, has made time fly right by (and has also made it hard to remember what day it is LOL)! I'm crossing all my fingers and toes in hopes that we all get in!
  6. LOL, I know!
  7. Me too, me too! I can't figure out if more people or less people will be applying this time around because of covid. For me, covid was what led me to this stage, but I don't know how common that is. I guess we just have to bite our nails for a month and a half now ?
  8. Awesome! Good to know that it is a good program!
  9. good to know about the application system being clunky! I figured that might have been the issue. How has your sister liked the CCRI program? What campus did she go to?
  10. Hey guys, I just noticed this thread! riosrussell and I were just talking about the weird blanks on application summaries over in a diff thread too. This one seems more applicable since it is Fall 2021 applicants. Mine is like riosrussells'. My points status has all my info (except for campus preferences), but my application summary has nothing. I emailed the web admissions people to check just to be super safe LOL. What campuses did you guys apply to? I applied to 1) Newport 2) Warwick, and 3) Providence.
  11. OK, good to know! Thanks again Stephanie2 ?
  12. According to Stephanie2 above, I guess it is normal. Maybe someone needs to go through and manually enter the information? Weird that some of yours is in there, but none of mine is though. Maybe it is because I'm applying for the first time and you have applied before so some of your info is already in the system? You could always just email the school to double check I guess.
  13. Hi riosrussell, are you looking at blank places in the summary of your application (like what I took a screenshot of above?), or are you looking at blank spaces in the pre-application points check?
  14. Thanks again Stephanie2! I applied in the wee hours of the morning, so my brain wasn’t exactly running full steam LOL. Just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed something critical as a result!
  15. Hey again all, For those of you that have applied for the ADN at CCRI, I've got a question. I just applied, and when I look at the summary for my application (by clicking on the 'Performance-Based Health Sciences Application and Status Check' link in my 'for students' tab), none of my points show up in my application summary (see screenshot below). Is that normal, or should I contact someone at the school? All of my points still show up accurately in the 'PBHS Pre-Admission Points/Status Check' link. Also, in the 'PBHS Pre-Admission Points/Status Check' link, none of my preferences for campus show up either. Should they? I just figured I would check with you guys before pestering the peeps at CCRI. Thanks!
  16. LOL, awesome! Thanks Stephanie2!
  17. Hi again all! Good idea getting micro out of the way in advance jlmailloux! I’m currently taking A&P2 to get that out of the way. Also, we’ll think I’m going to go for Newport as my first choice. Will be same distance as Warwick for me, less traffic/crowds to deal with, and more beach access close by LOL. Another question for those of you that have previously applied: How involved is the initial online application? I’m just wondering if this is something I will be able to do on my phone on lunch break, or if it takes longer to get through. If it is a longer application, do you need to complete it in one session (ie no saving and coming back later), or does it allow you to save your progress and come back to work on it later? Thanks again for all of your insights!
  18. Thanks ItsNae! I’ve been biting my nails, wondering how high points need to be to get in, and wondering if more or less people will be applying due to the state of the world. My guess would be more? Anywhoo, how involved of a process was filling out the pbhs application, if you don’t mind me asking? Just wondering if we are talking minutes, hours, or days LOL. Happy Saturday!
  19. Sorry, meant CNA, not LPN ?
  20. Alright, this is all really great information! Question for you ItsNae, How long did it take you to fill out your pbhs application? I couldn't find any info on exactly what is in the application, and I'm curious. And holy cow jlmailloux, leave some points for the rest of us! Nice Work! I'm guessing you are an LPN? Did you do the program at CCRI? If so, how was it? I'm just shy of 200pts at the mo, and am hoping that is enough to get me in. I wouldn't mind doing an LPN program, but I'd rather save the time and money and just start in the ADN program ASAP!
  21. Thanks ItsNae! LOL, I was literally just combing through previous semesters’ schedules at ccri to figure out the class sizes and times for the diff campuses! Thanks for the heads up about but the facebook group too. I abandoned fb years ago, and swore I wouldn’t give the Zuck any more of my soul, so I don’t think I’ll be able to take advantage of that one. ?
  22. Awesome! Congrats ItsNae! That must be so exciting! I guess that makes sense about all the labs being in one place at the mo. Hopefully by next September things will be more normal, but who knows? Do you know anyone that is going to the Newport campus? I’m pretty familiar with the Warwick campus, but don’t know much about Newport. Seems small, so I just wondered if they had smaller class sizes or anything. Someone also said that Newport classes were a little later in the day, but they didn’t specify what that meant. Anywhoo, thanks for the input, and if you’ve got any more, I’m all ears!
  23. Hey all, I’m new to this site, and not 100% sure how this works! I’m hoping to get some info from students in the ccri ADN program. I’m going to apply in February answer wondered what people thought about the different campuses. If I get in, I’ll be living in southern RI, and so I was thinking Newport or Warwick. Any thoughts? Thanks!
