  1. I haven’t yet. I was assuming today or early next week we would hear. ??
  2. Yay, congratulations!! Thats awesome ?
  3. I received the same message. I’m feeling discouraged but I hope it all works out for the best. Best of luck!
  4. Hey guys! I got an email saying I’ll hear back in June. Do you know if I have a good chance of admission in June or is this a bad sign? ?
  5. How did interviews go for those who had them this past week?
  6. Congratulations to you both, I am so excited for you! Let us know how the interviews go, and best of luck. You are going to do amazing!
  7. Yay!! Congratulations that’s so exciting. When is your interview? I still haven’t heard anything and am feeling anxious.
  8. That makes sense! I heard Feb 15th but I wasn't sure whether interviews were being held that week or if they would start to invite people that week. I am just so anxious LOL
  9. Has anyone received any updates? Or interviews?
  10. Yeah that was a good idea, thanks so much for passing it on ?
  11. That’s awesome info, thanks! Did you inquire to get this info or did they just send this to you as an update??
  12. The waiting is killing me haha but I am so excited! If we do not get in, are we also notified in March? or just waitlisted until June? Thank you for your response ?
  13. Hey guys! I know this was from last year but I wanted to ask about when you guys received your admission decision? I applied for the DNP in midwifery, took the KIRA on the 12th and haven't heard anything else yet! Also, for those who applied for midwifery, any tips? Any advice? How many students do they accept?
  14. CONGRATULATIONS!!! That’s awesome!! ???? When did you submit your app??
  15. Awesome!! Congrats and good luck ? How long after the Kira did you receive the email saying admissions went over your app and nursing faculty are reviewing?
  16. Thats awesome!! Best of luck ? Yeah, the waiting game is super intimidating, I have also been freaking out for sure!! Hopefully we find out sooner rather than later.
  17. Yay!! Yeah, that’s what it sounds like. I just wanted to know if some people had heard anything else already or not LOL. But it’s so nerve wracking to just do KIRA and then wait. How long have you been a nurse?
  18. Hey!! Yay, exciting! And good luck ? I am also hopeful to hear sooner rather than later. Have you heard anything about live interviews? I applied for the post bacc. You?
  19. Very good point! Best of luck, and keep me posted when you get your interview and/or acceptance letter ?
  20. That's so cool! Shadowing is such great experience and I wish I would have had done more of that. I work on a GYN surgical floor but the only delivery experience I have is from clinical for school, and we kinda got to work with the midwives a bit and ask them questions. I am hoping to get into L&D as an RN, but I am a little bit worried about my limited experience through this application process.
  21. Same here! Its so nice to have someone else who is in a similar situation! What kind of unit do you work?
  22. Yay, thats so exciting! Congrats ? The KIRA wasn't bad. Just make sure you do practice questions and get yourself used to the program. It is super helpful! I did feel like I got nervous and stumbled a bit- but as long as you are being honest and being yourself, there really aren't any wrong answers. Just be prepared with your answer to why umich, why this program. I also had questions about teamwork, nursing research, and time management. You've got this!!
  23. Yay! Congrats. Are you graduating this year with your RN and starting grad school right away? Or have you been an RN for some time? The KIRA really wasn't bad. The practice questions they offer are helpful for getting you used to the program. Just have your answer ready for why Umich, why your program, and be yourself! ? I had some questions about time management, nursing research, and teamwork also. Good luck!
