  1. It is my understanding that UConn reviews applications monthly, so most people get a response within 4-6 weeks of applying. (I received an acceptance 4 weeks after I applied.)
  2. Have you tried contacting the school? I think they try to send out responses within 4-6 weeks of application....
  3. Congratulations! This is all very exciting!
  4. Not yet. I am actually leaning toward the CEIN program at UConn. How about you?
  5. Try going straight here: ttps://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/?whr=quinnipiac.edu Enter your quinnipiac email (whatever your username is plus @quinnipiac.edu) and the code they give you. Then they will send an email to you home email to verify the account and change password.
  6. In the application portal, it showed my Quinnipiac information: ID# and username. (my username happens to be my first initial and last name.) I went to "set up and view your Financial Aid Account" - clicking on the blue hyperlink "Directions available here. Then I followed the directions. (It's down a bit on the page - under "Instructions for New Students.") You need to add "@quinnipiac.edu" to your username and verify your account, change your password, then you're in! (I apologize if you have already followed the steps above and still can't get in - this is what worked for me...)
  7. Welp, I never got an email but I was able to login just now and see the offer. So weird.
  8. I checked - nothing yet - did yours come in today? (They probably send them out in batches...)
  9. Oh wow - that is frustrating! I'm sorry I am of no help.... (And now I'm wondering why I didn't get an email......)
  10. I was told that they will send out financial packages (need-based aid only) in one or two weeks. But, that was 3 weeks ago today (LOL). They also told me at that time that they would notify us by email when the info is available in the portal.
  11. I have no idea, but I reached out to the financial aid office, and they said they would be preparing packages within the next week or two for newly accepted students. (Assuming you completed the FAFSA.)
  12. I have not accepted yet - I think I am leaning toward UConn... I thought I heard that QU is super intense, and no wiggle room at all - I would have expected SCSU's program to be more flexible.... I am also planning to attend the March info session to refresh my memory and to aid in the decision-making process...
  13. I am deciding based on location (UConn is closer to home) and price (UConn is much cheaper - I haven't heard about financial aid from QU yet). So, it looks like UConn for me. Downside is that QU has the holistic approach, which I think is pretty amazing, while UConn is more traditional. I think both programs are great, though. I believe all clinicals are in person, even through COVID. I am planning to attend the info session at the end of March for QU, just as a refresher and to aid in my decision-making. (As I said earlier, I am leaning toward UConn, but they don't start til January, so QU is on my "pro" side in that I could start / finish sooner...
  14. Hi - you can have 3 outstanding pre-reqs (I currently have 3 outstanding and just got accepted -woohoo!). I do not know how to prove enrollment for courses you plan to take in Fall2020 - I am taking all three of mine this semester. I would email [email protected] in the CEIN admissions office. She is very responsive and knowledgeable.
  15. Congratulations ? ? ? I also just found out I was accepted! So now for the next questions: Are you deciding between more than one school? What factors are you using to make your decision? I am deciding between Quinnipiac and UConn. QU starts sooner (and therefore ends sooner). I like their "holistic nursing" approach. UConn is closer to my home and is much cheaper (not sure about any financial aid yet).
