  1. I am in my final semester as an ADN student and have always struggled with the end of semester HESIs. I’ve probably only passed three in all my time here. Today I just failed my med surg HESI and have one HESI left. We aren’t required to pass the HESI in order to graduate, and I’m still passing my classes even with my low grade (low 700) since I always pass my unit exams with an A. I feel very depressed each time I fail one because classmates around me pass them easily but I always manage to fail just as easily. Also, I know they say this is a good indicator on whether or not you’ll pass the NCLEX so it just brings me down even more. If I can’t even pass a HESI, how the heck am I going to pass the NCLEX?? I would appreciate any input if anyone has had a similar experience and what the outcome was when it came to the NCLEX. Is there still a chance I can pass it? Or just words of encouragement because I really need them ? Thank you.
