Hi, LCPH does not do rotating shifts for nurses (either days or nights only)! PICU asked my preference for days or nights and said they'll let me know by end of today which one I get. ? Not sure if they call everyone together, but the phone call itself took 20 minutes so there's still hope for you!

Congrats - well deserved! ❤️ I am still waiting to hear back for the FNP (PGC) track. They told us that it could take until the first week of May to get our decisions back. Eeek, hang in there everyone!

Don't lose hope! A lot of schools send out interview invites in batches. And after the first round of interviews, some applicants and the school may think they are not a right fit, leaving more spots to fill too. Hoping you get your shot soon! ❤️ Yay good luck! I think they'll send us a zoom link closer to the date.

Applied to the FNP-PGC program and I also got an interview invite around 1600 today. ? So excited/nervous — but anyone else have trouble signing up? The slots say they are all already filled.

Hi all! I wanted to get this rolling since applications opened for the next cohort. I applied to Duke's FNP-PGC program for Fall 2023 admit term. I looked through last year's thread (Fall 2022) and it looks like we won't be hearing back for interview invites until mid February. Has anyone heard anything different? Good luck everyone! ?

Just got the official email! I also was admitted! ? Congrats to those of you who got in, and for those who were denied or waitlisted: DO NOT LOSE HOPE! I've received so many other rejections and waitlists, its not even funny. I wish I could buy you all some ice cream to make you feel better but hoping the best for each of you. ❤️

Hi friends~ I just had my interview yesterday and I wanted to give some general tips so I can still be fair to all the applicants! It wasn't super technical, more of a group format which has already been mentioned. Have a pen and paper and listen well! Be calm, clear, and able to get your point across without interrupting. (We used the hand-raising function in the "reactions" part of zoom to avoid cutting each other off). Also, there are some great interview tips on the SMU ELMSN website if you haven't seen those already ? We are supposed to hear back between 10/13-10/20, which seems so quick compared to past cohorts! Not sure about the number of interviews, but I think there are usually way more FNP applicants. Also, according to previous year forums, some FNP applicants that do NOT get selected for FNP are then offered to interview for a slot in the CM program. Here are 2020 stats pulled straight from SMU's website: 2020 ELMSN Admitted Student Profile CM FNP Applications Submitted 95 305 Accepted Applicants 67 54 I've lurked like 2-3 forums from past years so I hope this helps! ?
