  1. Yes, I contacted them and they told me to ask the people who do the background check. And the background check individuals just told me to repeat the test once my fingers fully healed. 2. Hi, This is my first time posing a question here, so I apologize if its not posed in the correct forum. I graduated from nursing school 2 years ago but I have been unable to get a job because of difficulty with the FBI fingerprint based background check. I have severe eczema on my hands and it has caused my fingerprints on both hands to come off. Whenever one finger heals enough for the fingerprint to come back, the eczema comes back on other fingers - so there is never a point where all of my fingers have healed. As such, everytime I go to get the FBI background check done, I'll wait for a couple weeks and they'll call back and say that they were unable to process my background check because all my fingerprints didn't show up. I even got a doctor's note and had them submit it in along with my fingerprints but nothing has come of it. I am getting a little desperate, so if anyone could tell me an alternative to the the fingerprint based check or a department of some kind that I could contact I would really appreciate it. Thank you and sorry about the long post
