I’m gonna be honest I felt the same way. I have similar stats as you, heavily involved in work and local committees, two certs. The interviewers seemed distracted and I only got asked about 3-4 questions, was difficult for me to get a word in or answer a question as thoroughly as I wanted. I’m happy for everyone who got in, for some reason I’ll (never) know it just wasn’t my year.

If anyone gets waitlisted, will you let us know when you get the email or if you already have?

I will not be holding my breath. Congrats to everyone who got accepted! Time to work on my app for next year, I suppose.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone’s portal changed?

I am too. My impression from reading previous years posts is that historically they call in the afternoons (after 2 PM) and it would make sense to do it on a Friday so they’re not hounded all day tomorrow. But who knows, might have to wait until next week. Congratulations!

I was not told this but someone I know was. They saw I got a C in a class 7 years ago and almost immediately asked me about that until they realized I retook it. They definitely pick through your transcript, that’s for sure. I’m curious why they would tell some people that and not others. They didn’t grill me about whether I was ready for how hard the program was gonna be, either. But I did get grilled for quite a while on my experience, so maybe that’s why LOL.

In past years I have heard they have about 150 applicants, interview 40-50 people, and accept 15. Unsure about this year. From my friends who have been applying to medical and other professional schools, it’s been an unprecedented year in terms of applicants due to the pandemic. I feel like I’ve anecdotally heard about a lot of people interviewing, but hard to say if that’s because I’m local or not.

Anyone know about how long after interviews they make admissions decisions?

By the way, if you’re staying at the Cottonwood I would highly recommend walking to the interview. Parking around Clarkson historically is a disaster (they share a lot of parking with UNMC) and it’s only about a 15 minute walk from the hotel to the school. Assuming it’s not cold or raining outside, anyways—late May is tornado season here ? Let me know if you have any other questions about Omaha! I’ve lived here for a few years and know it pretty well.

I have not, I’ve checked like 4 times to make sure I sent the email to the right address. It does say we have until April 23 to reply so maybe next week?
