  1. This was my second time applying and I got in! See you all soon! 3.88 GPA math and science 88.7% TEAS
  2. Check your email friends they are starting to send them out. Good luck! I got an interview.
  3. We should hear by no later than Monday I was just told.
  4. I just emailed them as I still have not heard anything. You? honestly the interview was very nerve wrecking. If you miss it or are late they deny you. And I logged on at 9:00am for a 9:30interview. And they were backed up and didn’t get to my interview until 10:15am. I was terrified they missed me or I did something wrong logging in (virtual interview). I was emailing the nursing dept frantically. So just be aware that can happen. They asked why I wanted to be a nurse. And honestly I can’t remember what else. They have a very large bank of questions they pull from based on your previous work history so it’s different for everyone. I think they asked me why National university?
  5. No. Last time it was at 11 days after the deadline. Today is day 12. But I know it can go until 14 days. What did you apply with?
  6. Hey I wanted to start this thread, since one hasn't been created yet. I'm applying to this cohort. This will be my second attempt. Math/Sci GPA 3.8 TEAS 88.7% (planning a retake before the application deadline) They take the Top 40 applicants and have 10 alternates. Last time I received an interview, and was placed on the alternates list. But no one (or not enough people) dropped out of the program so I didn't make it in. Good Luck friends!
  7. Hey! For those who got in, have they announced when your orientation is? As an alternate I'd like to make sure I have my calendar marked out just in case.
  8. If you're a national university student already you can check your application status if you haven't received an email. I'm an alternate. Just shows me I was good enough to get in, just not enough slots. All I hear is "So you're saying there IS a chance" LOL
  9. It’s up to 2 weeks before we hear anything.
  10. Just finished my interview was supposed to start at 9:40, finally started interview at 10:20 my interview was about 20min long. 5 questions. Very nice and pleasant interviewer. I think I did well. As someone else said not rushed.
  11. interview was at 9:40 and they JUST came on to tell me they are running behind. Just a heads up you guys. stay in the waiting room!
  12. I got an interview as well! Zoom, 15min long
  13. Typically 150-200 applicants 80-90 get an interview 35 get in plus 5 lvn (totaling 40) 10 waitlisted
  14. I don’t think the advisors would know since it’s with the nursing department. Right after we submitted our application it said it would be 1-2 weeks before we heard anything. I know they typically let the people who got interviews know first then let the people who didn’t make the cut know. My guess is we will hear at the last possible moment on Friday. Also I would ask if you could get a different advisor assigned to you. I feel like that’s not right. I understand they have a high turnover rate over there, but if you need a timely response that’s less than ideal.
  15. I believe if you get an interview that the email will state how to present those items. But yes a resume and 2 letters of rec are allowed. From what I heard most of the time they don’t bring them up In the interview, but I’d use them anyways.
  16. Virtual. Typically 10-15min long, 4 questions asked. 1-3 people on the panel.
  17. I don’t know. I’d contact the nursing dept directly and ask.
  18. Just applied. 3.82 GPA 88.7% TEAS Traumatic TEAS test today. After my science section it FULL ON kicked me out, THANK GOD I was able to log back in (had to redo proctorio checkins and everything). Got back in, my timer was still going and my answers weren't lost. But it took me out of my test zone so much that in all 3 prior sections I got over 90%... but the last section I got 66% after the log out fiasco. FML. But no time to retake. So it is what it is.
  19. Ohhhh Okay 3.4 makes more sense. They must have had the 97% TEAS. That would give them a 72.8 pre interview score. Which is kinda around a normal cut off score. Interview is another 20pts. If they got the full pts on the interview giving them 92.8/100 is pretty good. Same score as A 90% TEAS 4.0gpa and 17 on an interview. Definitely possible.
  20. I agree. Even if that person got the highest TEAS of 97 with a 3.0gpa that would only make their pre interview score 68.8. Which is about 3+ point less than some previous cut off scores just to be interviewed. Curious did you receive and interview?
  21. Congrats that’s a great score! You are allowed only 2 letters of recommendation. You can submit those with your resume for your interview, but not before then.
  22. Horrid LOL. It was basically a throw away test just to see where I was at with no studying. Let’s just say it was in the 70s. ? now that I know I need to study I can fine tune my weak areas. My goal is 86% or higher. Which is feasible. I’ll be working with a tutor and I have a friend who does hypnotherapy for people test takers and do that just for *** and giggles LOL
  23. No 30 day waiting period, at least not now. I just took the TEAS on Tuesday and I’m retaking in 2 weeks. No problem scheduling the second one.
  24. Update: My cumulative GPA is 3.49, my math and science GPA is 3.82. I am taking the TEAS for the first time (first of three in all probability) at the end of this month. Aiming for 88+ I’ll update with scores soon enough.
