  1. Hey fellow nursing world. I just wanted to share my experience and hope. I’m officially an RN after the rocky road of being convicted of two misdemeanors. I was thankfully still able to get licensed with a hit and run and a wet and reckless. I’m on probation for 3 years but it’s a small price to pay in order to pursue my dreams as an RN. I was given one chance to pass during the time the BRN was considering me being licensed. I was so anxious and didn’t pass. I olny used UWorld and didn’t take the time to carefully read the rationals. It took over a year to get the OK to become an RN and I bought Hurst review. Hurst review and UWorld is why I’m licensed today. I read the rationals and the qbank on Hurst was more challenging then the actual NCLEX. I was scoring around 50-65% on the quizzes on Hurst and 70-88% on UWorld. I recommend studying a chapter from Hurst and then doing problems on UWorld for the pertaining subject and never give up. Thank you for reading and I’ll pray and wish the best for every pursuing a license in nursing. I’m so happy.
  2. I passed! I’m an official registered nurse!
  3. OMG I walked out feeling like I had no idea what the outcome was. But I just did the PVT and I got the good popup! Crossing my fingers that I passed!
  4. well I decided to just go for it. my NCLEX is tomorrow
  5. Hey fellow nursing world. My NCLEX examination is in 5 days and I still don't feel confident since my Hurst scores are in the 70's out of 125. My highest score the readiness exam was 77/125 thats about 62%. I was wondering if anyone passed the NCLEX with scores like mine. Every quiz I've taken is around 50%-65%. Some being in the 70's%. I've already failed NCLEX once and all I used to study was UWorld. Honestly, I didn't really read the rationals to well and I failed. This time I did the whole Hurst review lectures and used there questions along with UWorld. I've been scoring really good on UWorld but I think thats only because I already did the questions before. I don't know if I should reschedule my exam. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
  6. UPDATE: So I was approved for a probationary license! I'll be able to take the exam again. Thank GOD.
  7. Update: So I spoke with my enforcement officer and she told me that failing the NCLEX will not determine weather or not they will approve me for a probationary license. If they approve me I'm allowed to take the test again. I'm praying to God.
  8. Hello, My name is Gaby. I'm in the process of a license appeal because of two misdemeanor convictions. I signed a contract only allowing me to take the NCLEX once for my appeal. Unfortunately, I found out yesterday that failed. I was just wondering if anyone has been in this situation before and was able to take the exam again? I worried that they will close my case and have to wait until December to reapply. I live in California btw.
