I’m going in August!! Mine is 8 weeks as well. Seems like most nurses have been going to the 8 week course lately. There’s a fb page for our class if you want to join. Air Force OTS Class 21-08.

I got the NICU spot! I was pretty surprised. I’m currently at MEPS just to get fingerprinted LOL. Hopefully we will get a class date coming soon!

I applied for the Feb board as well! Hopefully we find something out soon!! I applied for NICU and clinical nursing as a backup.

@kfddakota I spoke with my recruiter a few weeks ago and he said results would be within 30-45 days after the board meets!

Thanks for the info! So I’m applying for an RN spot, NICU specifically but was told there may or may not be any spots for my specialty. So I told them I would be OK with clinical nursing as a backup.

@PKitsys That would make sense. I don’t know why the recruiter told me December. Said I’d probably hear something in January. The process has been a little chaotic and I’ve had several different recruiters.

Hello everyone. I know I’m a little late into this post. I missed the October board due to waiting on a waiver after MEPS. I was told there was another board coming up in December by my recruiter. I’m seeing some people say February. Just wanted some clarification if anyone has any knowledge.
