I haven’t gotten an acceptance or a rejection email and I had 91.5 points...

My friend graduated from Palomar and said it was a great program and a lot of the super super strict teachers retired LOL. She works at scripps and said that they are accepting students again and the only reason hospitals weren't allowing students was because of lack of PPE. I emailed the dean of Palomar's nursing program and asked her about clinical. She said she feels confident that each student will be able to have a clinical spot since she's gotten positive feedback from the sites and last cohort was the first time that they didn't have sites for everyone because it happened during the beginning of the pandemic. I wish there was someone who's currently in the program that could give us feedback.

My friend just told me that clinical were given through a raffle last semester because they couldn't secure enough spots. Whoever didn't get in to a clinical spot had to re-take the entire semester. I hope things have changed for this semester ?

I just got my acceptance letter to Palomar!! I am so shocked!

We still got this! Once Mira Costa sends out their acceptance letters more spaces in the Palomar program will open up. You can apply to SDCC but its for Spring 2022 semester. If you're interested in Spring 2022 semester and willing to relocate a little north, I applied to Rio Hondo in Whittier and got accepted for Fall 2021. But this program is my last resort. Seems less competitive than San Diego.

You can actually find the course meeting time on the enrollment site already for Summer classes. Lectures online and the lab is in person/hospital I think?

My stats are around the same. I wonder if they’ve sent out alternate acceptance yet...but I just read that they send out acceptance letters in batches according to who accepts their seat. So there's hope!
