@nurse10974 I haven't seen anything new on blackboard. Did you receive an alt pin from one of the advisors for Summer courses?

@Mere thanks for letting me know hopefully we have access soon, I have been trying to look at places near that area. I am currently taking that pre-req right now and if you have taken organic before, it will not be hard for you. I had only taken gen chem 1 and its not bad.

Also has anyone seen a facebook group or have access to the ABSN homeplace?

Hey ya'll! I called financial aid at WCU and I had 2 people tell me that since the promise tuition does not apply during the Summer courses, each credit is billed at 175$/ credit hour. The 4500 I believe is for the middle of the program. For this Summer's prerequisites, it would depend on how many credits are in those 3 classes we need to take which I believe are 10 credit hours. @Mere Yay! Yeah I am not familiar with the area either. I have only been to Asheville a few times.

I know this may be early but has anyone that has been accepted and deciding to go to the program looking for roommates?

I have no idea a facebook group would be a great idea! There also might be a list of students they send out once acceptances are finalized.

Hello @aorr10! Thank you for your response. It is nice to hear from someone who graduated recently about their experience. What were your stats like when applying to this program (TEAS score, last 60 credit hr GPA, pre-req GPA?) How was the interview process, do you recommend any tips for how to prepare for the interview? Also, how is the nature for the accelerated program? Were you able to work or is that impossible in this program and would you pick this path again? I apologize for the amount of questions but I would really love to hear your responses and experience you had while applying and studying in this program. If you prefer me to email you, I can do that as well!

That's a huge accomplishment getting into CH! My old college roommate is currently in that program right now. If I don't get into WCU, then I am planning on applying to CH and ECU. I knew Duke would be way too expensive for me even though its a great program. I also thought about applying to the tradition BSN program at WCU but they want your SAT/ACT score from HS which I am not willing to go back and retrieve.

Hi @nurse10974! I am applying to this program and 2 others in NC. This is my first time applying to WCU and I chose it because of the, quality and credentials of faculty, high NCLEX pass rate, tuition cost, and accreditation. Also the fact that it is in NC was a huge factor for me as well. I totally agree that there is not a lot of recent info about the program as I tried to find more recent feedback. What other programs are you looking at either in NC or out of state?

Also I just recently graduated with a degree in Exercise Science, great choice of major! @cevans7 I just recently submitted my application and am very nervous. I received the confirmation email last night that they received my application. It seems we will hear back anytime next week to see if we are eligible for an interview or not.
