  1. Hey there. I graduated from the ABSN program in July of 2022. It was probably the best move I could have made for my career. The program was very challenging. Very demanding academically. I finished with a 4.0 but it took everything I had. I highly recommend it for the quality of education though. I came out of school a strong nurse, took a job in a Level 1 Trauma ICU straight out of school, and then went to the Medical ICU, and now I am a Trauma ICU RN in Florida. So far, my employers have told me that my nursing skills were excellent out of school, far beyond what students from other schools had learned. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Good luck!
  2. Okay yes I can do that
  3. I can screenshot part of my schedule! Do you want like what the Summer looked like for us? June-August?
  4. I have not! I even emailed --------------------- and she never emailed back. Getting kind of antsy!
  5. I have heard some stories myself, I applied to OSU OKC's RN ADN program, and they denied me. I was pretty bummed but looking back, I am okay with it because I think OU has a better program. More experienced faculty, good clinical facilities, and they have a good reputation here in Oklahoma.
  6. When I was deciding on which schools to apply to, that thread had a lot to do with my decision to apply. I also know some people that have went to school at OU for medicine and other areas of study that were extremely happy with it.
  7. I found a thread on here one time that reviewed the program. Hopefully I can dig that up. I vaguely remember that there was one girl on there that was in the ABSN program that posted a long paragraph about it. From what I recall, she seemed pleased with her experience, and she said it was quite a big workload, but she said it was not unachievable by any means. It sounded like she had a good routine going, and figured out how to make it work for her.
  8. Congratulations!! I was accepted into the OKC ABSN program as well for 2021! I am so excited!
