  1. I got my on Xmas Eve too ? If you don't mind sharing, what did they ask you during the OR interview?
  2. Hey guys can we do a roll call to see who has their license already and who still needs to take the NCLEX? I am one of the people who plans on taking the NCLEX in January early February.
  3. Congrats to everyone who got an offer! Did you guys already have your RN license or are you in the process of obtaining it?
  4. Hi! Also waiting on RR OR. Haven't heard anything yet. ?
  5. I interviewed w/ LCOM Torrance, St. Jude, and St. Jo Orange. All my interviews were done with at least 3 nursing leaders. The interview for St. Jo Orange was a bit different though. They had us choose our top two units. The first unit I interviewed for was with 3 unit managers. For my second choice, I interviewed in a room with 8 different unit managers. The second interview was more relaxed, like a get-to-know-you vibe. Some questions they asked were: "Tell us about yourself.” "Why nursing/this unit?” "Strengths/weakness?" "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” "Tell us about a time you were culturally sensitive?” "Time you went above and beyond for a patient.” "Why is teamwork important?” "What values you will bring as a team?” "Tell me about a time when you did your best to resolve a customer or client concern and the individual was still unsatisfied. What did you do next?” "Why are you applying for a TIP position?” (Read over their mission statement, vision, and values.) Be prepared to organize 4 tasks in the order of urgency and give your rationale. Expect at least one case study e.g. pt w/ hypoglycemia/HF/sepsis. You'll have to break it down and do a verbal SBAR, and what interventions/implementations you'd expect for that pt. Hope this helps! Good luck!
  6. I received an email about an offer on 4/7 for Torrance but haven't received a call yet. I emailed the recruiter Friday and she just replied saying she was no longer the recruiter for the TIP program ?
  7. Hi, congratulations! Our interviews were done on Zoom and went by really quickly. The questions I got during the interview were: What is the difference bw diversity and inclusion in healthcare? How do you practice effective communication? What does professionalism in nursing mean to you?/Give us 3 examples of professionalism in nursing. Two reasons you chose National over other schools? Why do you want a career in healthcare/nurse?
  8. YAYYYY CONGRATULATIONS! Can't wait to meet you all!
  9. The anxiety is killing me! I hope we find out soon...Does anyone know if we will receive an email? Or are we suppose to keep on checking the SOAR?
  10. @penguin22 LOL! I was expecting “Tell us about yourself” as the first question, but they jumped right into “Why do you want a career in healthcare/nursing?”
  11. I was asked the question, "What is the difference between diversity and inclusion in healthcare?"
  12. @ki13 I think they're just breaking us down into 3 different groups because there will be 3 different sets of interviewers.
  13. Good luck on interviews guys!
  14. I rc'd an email around 1pm from --------------------- stating that interview dates and times will be released today. *Fingers crossed* @penguin22 My GPA is 4.0 and 90 TEAS
