Hi all! If anyone ended up at regional medical centers new grad program, mind sharing your thoughts with me? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys! I was recently offered a spot in Regionals StaRN program and wanted to get feedback from folks who are in it. I can’t seem to get reviews from people I know! If you are in it currently, how is it going so far? The good and the bad, please share!

Thanks for filling us in! Yea, they could easily say you'll know by end of April, or mid-May, etc. Yeah, those are specific timelines (the emails) for sure, but oh well at least we know that the decisions are made but waiting on approval. Guess we're sitting tight for a bit. I think it slows down the process especially for those who end up on the waitlist, who then have to wait longer to know if they'll actually get accepted or not... but all we can do is prepare for the next round.

Anything else he mentioned about it?? Like reasons for delay etc? San Mateo not too much later after Oakland, and Oakland heard a while ago now.

Yes exactly. Was stressing about the April 1 deadline, wouldn’t have been able to get the recommendations in again on time. Figured I’d wait for the July 1 deadline.

No unfortunately I wasn’t able to. Thinking to submit applications by July 1 for January start.

I hope so! Would be nice to get things in order! Prepare for the next round, etc.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get hopes down with my comment above. I have no idea what it means if you got the email, or if you didn't. No one has posted here saying they got admitted to the June San Mateo cohort...
