  1. I didn't receive anything and don't know that anyone actually did. Since the semester doesn't start for almost 5 more weeks, I am sure we'll get something in plenty of time. Right now, you're in. If you're registered and paid up, you're good. I would just let them get through all the applicants. As of the last time I checked, still only half of the seats had been enrolled in so obviously they're still working on the acceptance process.
  2. Same thing happened to me. ? Glad you got your questions answered.
  3. Hi Sophie. This is unfortunate. Based on how few signed up for classes today, I think it's possible that they haven't selected everyone. I would keep pushing.
  4. So there is no confusion, I only got the automated reply letter sent to my email and thought that was what was meant by a letter vs just the words "accepted" in the portal. I didn't get any special letter.
  5. I got a letter. Automated -- short and sweet.
  6. Cool but this is just a page to like, not a group to join. What about the other one?
  7. Now there's 2? I just joined this one: malcolm x ADN Spring 2021 NM, I see this is a different app!
  8. I am totally interested. How? facebook? Awesome! ? Congratulations to all! Woot!
  9. Same here! I'm like, don't slip here! Also, my heart was pounding waiting for the page to open.
  10. Fantastic! I'm so happy to hear this so you can stay at Malcolm. ?
  11. Thank you so much! I got accepted too. I appreciate this notification! Congratulations!
  12. Yeah, they seemed pretty strict about that deadline when I attended the info session. I thought maybe they were making an exception for you. I know it's a disappointment and that you've been working hard on this. Are you still considering other schools for the Spring semester?
  13. A glimmer of light! I hope it's tomorrow (well actually, today) ?
  14. Ambria will take your TEAS. All you have to do is send a pdf printout. You don't even have to pay ATI the extra $27
  15. English 101 and Intro to Psych (which you can CLEP)
  16. Same with Ambria. Bad reviews. But, they have a high NCLEX rate (higher than Malcolm) but I also think that's because they may kick you out more easily. I think the bad reviews are from their more formative years.
  17. But, it's a long drive for clinicals.
  18. It's $30,000, basically, for the ADN RN but then cheaper to do their RN to BSN than other schools.
  19. Nope. I did attend an info session for Ambria School of Nursing in case I have to take another route (I sincerely hope not). It was interesting.
  20. Yeah. It is what it is I suppose. The major challenge with the wait is that it doesn't allow meeting application deadlines at other schools (for this Spring semester) if not accepted at Malcolm.
  21. With the Thanksgiving holiday, wouldn't today and tomorrow be the only days that we should expect to hear anything this week? ?
  22. My take on it is that they are swamped and that what our portal says doesn't necessarily mean much. They're getting to applicants, one by one, and know people have the stuff in and may have stopped totally updating the portal by hand and may never do so. Who knows. It was one person doing it for maybe close to 700 hundred or more applicants.
  23. Really? Hmm. I thought it was the other way around. I am finished with all my prereqs and all the requirements and mine says, "In Progress".
  24. Still...that's not that many either! ?
