  1. Got my offer letter on Tuesday as well! Just waiting on the background check to clear. I'll be at Scripps CV!
  2. Yes I did excatly that. Good luck on your application!
  3. Yes to both, you can apply as a new grad with a preceptorship done in the ED or apply with 1 year experience as a nurse. Just got my offer from them, applied as a new grad even though I had 6 months of experience from another program?
  4. Just applied but I put that I have more than 6 months of experience on there. Think they'll still give me a shot?
  5. Hello, I applied to the ED Transition Into Practice program as a new grad. I had my interview last week but haven't heard anything back since. Has anyone heard anything back or gotten their offers?
  6. Hello, I graduated with an overall of a 3.4 and prerequisite average of 3.4 as well. Not the best since my first two years of college were pretty rough. My last 60 units were fairly strong (I believe 3.8-3.9 range), but IDK if they took that into account. I have 0 volunteer hours that were related to healthcare. I did however have plenty of healthcare experience, worked at a hospital as a patient transporter for a year and a half and I've been working under a cardiologist as a medical assistant for about 6 months. Approximately 2500 hours in the healthcare field. As for the Statement of Purpose, I really worked my hardest on that. What I did was mainly tie in my reason as to why I wanted to become a nurse to the current positions and experiences that I've had in healthcare. Hopefully this helps a little bit. Good luck on your future endeavors!
  7. Hi everyone, I just got my acceptance letter in both emails! I was fortunate and got the chance to do the video interview. Just wanted to thank everyone in the forums for being so helpful with updates. Congrats to everyone who got accepted and good luck to everyone else!
