    Thank you for the replies! Contacted an AMEDD guard recruiter and they’re over Strength right now. The reserves want 1 year ER experience, looks like I’ll be applying at local ER’s and try again in a year! Thanks!

    Hello fellow nurses! I have my ADN and am a few months from finishing my BSN through Western governors. I work in a skilled nursing facility and have (as and LPN then RN) for 8 years. I’m interested in joining the national guard, should I wait until I finish my BSN to start the application process? Does the NG only take critical care/ER nurses?
