Hi,
If you are accepted into a BSN program, you will graduate ready to take your NCLEX and become an RN. If you take the health education route, you will graduate with a BS in Health Education and you will have to apply to a separate nursing program, whether that be an ABSN or MSN for non-nurses (the program we've applied to on this thread). Getting accepted into a BSN program is very competitive and difficult, as is any nursing program.
Personally, I was not accepted into any BSN programs during my 4 years of undergrad so I took the Health Science route and graduated with a BS. Now I am attempting to get my master's in order to receive nursing education, take my NCLEX, and work as a nurse.
I hope this was helpful for you!
