Thank you so much for your reply Juan! One more question if you don't mind, do you know if the Controlled Substance II course is required to get the furnishing license? From what I read in the BRN, it said no but some people told me yes. So I am a little confused. I plan to do it but since I applied California RN and NP license at the same time, I don't have RN license number yet. CANP required me to put in RN license number. Thank you for all your help! I read on your other posts too and it's very helpful. It's very kind of you to set aside time and helping others with the process. ?

Hi all! I am applying for NP license in CA. I already have an NP license in another state and already certified by AANP. California have requested the Verification of NP certification and they have a form to be filled out by AANP. When I look at the AANP website, they provide State Board of Nursing Notification Form that send out my certification status as well. Do I email them and ask them to complete the form by California's as well as request them to notify my status? Or the official AANP form notifying my status sent to the CA Board is suffice? Also, for the academic program verification, does that have to be sealed like transcript? I was wondering if I can have my school complete that form and I'll just mail it out on my own since it's less hassle. Anybody that has done this before please, please help. California's NP application is much harder than my state. I am a new grad, moving due to my family's job. I really appreciate any recommendation or advise you can provide about this CA licensing process. Thank you soo much!
