Do you think I should just submit an application or email the CNO?

I applied for the director of inpatient services position in Jan 2022 while I was in school obtaining my MSN in nursing management and organizational leadership. I feel like it went really well when I interviewed with the CNO. Then I was called back for a 2nd team interview. Unfortunately I did not get the job and the CNO told me there was someone with more experience but encouraged me to apply for other positions within the facility. I see the position is open again and I have now completed my MSN. My question is should I just apply for the position again or should I email the CNO and reiterate my interest in the position?

I have worked my way through various positions within my hospital for over six years. I have filled in as charge nurse many times and now there is a full time charge position opening. My manager asked me if I wanted to interview for the position before even posting its availability. I told her I did and will be going for the interview in a couple days. I never had to formally apply for this position. Do I need to bring a resume or some kind of modified resume? If it needs to be modified can you show me some examples?

I am working on my MSN in Management and Leadership. Often the assignments say something like discuss an example from your practice. I will never give patient information and I know not to do that. My question is how do you refer to the patient? If you change the name just to make the writing easier to George for example (instead of patient A) how do you note in the writing that the name has been changed?

I do not know if this is the right place but it’s a start. I am currently working on my MSN in nursing management and leadership. I am looking for someone well versed in nursing research who would be willing to email back and forth when I need some guidance through my research design course. Not to do the work or anything but to answer generic questions and bounce ideas off of like a mentor. I would normally do this with someone I know and can talk to but I don’t know anyone knowledgeable in nursing research.

I work night shift and the facility I work at was about an hour away. A couple times the weather was really bad. I didn't want to try to and drive home after my shift in the morning just to turn around, leave early, and go back that night. Hotels will work with you. I stayed at Holiday Inn and just explained the situation. They were very accommodating with check in/check out times. It was also nice to grab complimentary breakfast with extra to have something to eat when I woke up before work. You are a new nurse and need to learn quickly that you have to take care of yourself. I wish I had listened to experienced nurses about that when I started out. An 84 year old patient I had the other night (she didn't look or move like she was a day over 60) told me you only have one body and you have to take care of it. Sleeping in your car is not the way to take care of your body or mind either for that matter.

Here is a picture of the assignment. My topic proposal is increasing the amount of leadership support available and utilizing different leadership styles in order to create a positive work environment and elude nurse burnout. The theories I am using are Hersey and Blanchard's Situational Leadership Theory and the Path-Goal Theory of Leadership.

Hey everybody this is my first post. I need some assistance I have been racking my brain and I can't figure it out. I am working on my MSN degree in Management and Leadership. I am doing a paper about evidence-based practice on increasing the support floor nurses receive from team leaders and other members of management. Also about creating a positive work environment in order to prevent nurse burnout. I have to talk about 2 potential legal considerations. The first is about accountability for example if the team leader assists with your patient and something bad happens who is going to be accountable. I need a second legal consideration idea and I can't think of one. Please help!
