Elon University ABSN 2021
Hi, Sorry for the late reply - I just saw your question. The interview process was a typical interview. Be prepared to answer why you want to be a nurse, when you have been a leader, when you have put yourself before others, when you made it thru some difficult circumstances, etc. Just be yourself! I am not very big on meeting over zoom, but that is the format interviews happen. The faculty are very down to earth and fluid in looking at the complete person - not just looking at your scores and background. There are prerequisites and basic requirements that you must meet, though. In other words, they are really interested in learning more about who you are as a person and also if you can academically handle an accelerated program. And believe me when I say it is very accelerated. I think they are having zoom meetings for people interested in the program. Also, I think it is a good time to apply since a lot of people do not know about the program, it is not very competitive now! Best of luck to you! Let me know if I can help you further... ?

WSSU ABSN 2021 Start
Hi Monica, I see you are interested in going ABSN. Me too... I tried to contact WSSU and they would never return my phone calls. I was planning on applying to A&T this Fall, but then I found out that Elon University is opening an ABSN program this Fall. I just had my interview yesterday. The deadline for applications was June 1st but they are extending it until July 15. Just thought I would put that out there. I was not aware until about 2 weeks ago that it was being offered, and the application process is very quick and easy. You do not have to have SAT or be on NC CNA registery. They said with the small amount of applicants there will be no waiting list or anything like that, and there will be a small class this year. Once word gets out next year there will def be a waiting list...now is the time to apply.... go to their website and check it out...

WSSU ABSN 2021 Start
Thanks for letting me know that! I did take the SAT in high school but I remember doing horribly. Hopefully not too much emphasis will be placed on my score. I hope things are well with all of you that went on to ABSN programs!

Hello everyone.... I know this post is dated, but I am hoping someone reads and is able to answer a question. Will WSSU use your TEAS test scores in place of you ACT test score? thanks

NC A&T ABSN 2021
Hello everyone....I have been reading your thread....very informative. I am planning on applying to A&T ABSN program next year. I am currently wrapping up my prerequisites. I was hoping someone could advise on what classes you took for the Introduction to Human Nutrition and also Healthcare in a Global Society. These classes are not offered at my school. Did you have to take them at A&T? Also, did you have to take an African American Studies class for admission? any other advice or tips would be appreciated, too!! Thanks in advance and GOOD LUCK to all of you!!
