  1. I actually haven't received anything past the last email about decisions coming out in rounds. Maybe things aren't looking good for me haha
  2. I also got my rejection letter ! Congrats to everyone else !!
  3. Me too! I haven't received anything on my end either. Almost all my schools will notify me in early February so I'm pretty stressed out hahaa
  4. Thank you so much for your input! I know that general Chemistry has a lab portion in it so I hope it is good in those terms as well.. I'll look into it!
  5. Hello! I am applying from California ?. I applied on October 12th and just had my interview. If anyone would like to know, the cohort size (Masters AND the specialties) add up to 45 people. This year's applicant pool was around ~300. I have not asked how many people they have interviewed for each specialty, but I wish I had! I applied for the FNP portion and that was the specialty that I interviewed for ? He also mentioned decisions might be rolling out in two weeks, which bleeds into February. I have one outstanding class (general Chemistry) and was wondering if anyone has some experience in portage learning? The college that I wish to take the course at has all been filled out so it's been pretty hard getting a seat in there! Thanks guys! and Good luck!!
  6. Does this mean that everyone that applied for November 1 decision that didn't hear back are now being placed in waitlist?
  7. Congratulations everyone! And the rest of us waiting, hang in there! I applied November 1 and still have not received a decision as well.
  8. Thank you so much for sharing, I really appreciate you sharing your stats and your decision update. I hope you apply again and I'm sure you will get in! I thought my timed writing was painfully awful. To the point where I sit back and think- what was I thinking LOL
  9. I'm so nervous now! I submitted my application on September 20th and haven't received any updates. Thank you so much and also-- CONGRATULATIONS!!:)
  10. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
  11. You worded it beautifully. Thank you.
  12. Random info- I'm not sure if anyone mentioned but, I went into one of the info sessions for their fall term and the admissions said that waitlisted applicants are not ranked. Hi! I put it anywhere it asked me to! ? Better safe than sorry hehe
  13. Hey all, So the essays have an "approx 300 word limit." During the zoom info session, the admissions mentioned that as long as your essay fits in the word box, you are fine. So I'm guessing the 300 limit is loosely used.
  14. From previous posts it looks like 10k max and then rest are loans.
  15. I have been following a lot of nurses posts and nurses that I have met in my Healthcare career and they always say it doesn't matter where you go, in the end, you are a RN. I know that I can be an RN with half the costs and be just as good as those who graduate from JHU. It's just the name that really intrigues me tbh. I know that JHU has a huge presence in the Healthcare field so it makes sense that I would want to attend there just for the experience. I think you'll be fine wherever you go ?
  16. I hear a lot of things saying how, in the end, you are an RN. So, where you graduate from doesn't matter but the experiences do. Of course, IDK much about the real-life applications LOL
  17. If only! Haha. Good luck guys! I applied November 1 with word counts of 300-310. That, in itself, was so hard LOL
  18. Darn, I totally understand how it feels to be on waitlist. If anything, you can apply again for JHU if their Fall 2021 application is still open.
  19. I heard not a lot of success stories of people getting in through waitlist. Right now I'm taking it as a rejection and have other schools that I'm waiting on. I hope we do hear back some good news tho ? And for the rest of you guys, congratulations!! I hope you're super excited to embark on your new journey!!
  20. Does this mean that decisions will be sent out during the month of December? Is this a tentative schedule? Thanks so much for this! Unfortunately, due to work schedules and different time zones I am unable to attend most of these sessions ?. So, thank you soooo much everyone because I'm getting so much help from this thread!
  21. Hi! I have only got an email saying that my application was verified.
  22. I don't think you should worry about it! A lot of the times its just admissions sending out mails and emails right now. It might also be random which is probably why some people are getting their waitlist decisions right now and acceptances at the same time. Please don't lose hope :).
  23. Hello! I emailed them a while back regarding this and they said that if you're missing anything from the application they will reach out to you. If you are not missing anything, then don't worry about it. ? I also did not get the email that some people have gotten in here.
  24. Hi! I also got put on waitlist and have already applied for the November deadline. I edited my resume a bit more to really emphasize who I am as a person and as an employee and student. I previously had only three references so I have added one more. Good luck! I hope some spots open up for us!! ?
