Hey! I am still in nursing school and am not applying until later this year. The website says the hiring of new graduates occurs in Dec-Jan, May-June, Aug-Sep... So I am confused about which cohort you are applying to that had a deadline this past week? I'm just trying to get a feel for the timeline. I graduate in August.

So I took my TEAS back in January when it was all in person. So I am not 100% sure, but yes I would assume you chose the ATI Remote Proctor-Nursing. What have you used to study for the TEAS?

Hey! You’re about to take the TEAS right? It really does not matter because once you take the TEAS you can send it off to other schools but you don’t really have to worry about sending it to other schools until you start applying to those schools. ?

So pretty much all I have done is accepted my offer, paid my deposit, and signed up for SOAR. I am a transfer student. I am psycho and am refreshing on some physiology stuff. Does anybody know if it would be smart to refresh on any specific content? Honestly, I am a little frustrated because the nursing department said they don't conduct one-on-one counseling appointments, I'm not sure if this is normal compared to other nursing schools?? How are we supposed to know what we need to graduate??? Also, does CSULB require taking "American Institutions" GE as a graduation requirement? I know SDSU does

How do you figure out your score? I got in with 4.0 science & gen ED GPA and 87.3 on TEAS

I asked for a confirmation email when I sent in my letter, I never got a confirmation either

Can someone post the number for the admissions department? I have not been able to get through to someone using the phone number on the website. I want to wait to sign up for SOAR once I get the official letter of acceptance from the SON, but I have already submitted all my vaccinations

I paid the deposit but I have not signed up for SOAR, I figured we would be given directions about that during our orientation? Also, transfer students, do we know when we will get our OFFICIAL acceptance letter? I submitted my official transcripts....now just anxiously waiting

Any idea from former cohorts how soon afterwards students receive their official acceptance letter from the SON?

Any other transfer students also received their letter of admissions today? Mine said I have been conditionally admitted I just have to submit my official transcripts

@KingOfShadows I got into MiraCosta, it's in San Diego where I live. This is another stressful situation because, for the ADN program, I wouldn't have to move, but it's only an ADN, and I really want my BSN! and for CSULB, I would have to move. So it's been stressful for me!

I hope we find out this week because I got accepted into an ADN program and they need my decision by Nov 9! I'm waiting to see what LB says, cuz obviously I would choose LB!

To the students who have been accepted, can one of you start a FB group so that the rest of us can join when we find out?! I'm a transfer student, so I'm not sure when ill be finding out!! CONGRATS!!

I’m just so happy that I found you guys on this thread. Knowing that there are other students who are feeling exactly the way I am feeling. I really hope that if we all get excepted we can create a facebook group and create a study group!
