  1. Thank you!! They sent out questions 24 hours before the interview and asked all of those, the only question that wasn't on there was when she asked each person a different scenario based question in which mine was "what do you do if a patient refuses the treatment plan although it is very important that they be treated". Don't overthink questions or plan the answers out too much but definitely go over responses ahead of time and possibly some mock interviews with family/friends! Thats what I did and I really feel that it helped me be less nervous.
  2. My current cumulative GPA is a 3.54. That is not including this semester or the next as I graduate undergrad in may. Im not sure how to get the prerequisite GPA but my grades were: a&p1: B+, a&p2:A , Chem1:C , Microbio:A , Stats:B+ , Nutrition:A , Electives: A's and B's I put my application in on 9/20, the application was marked completed on 9/28, email to schedule interview on 10/13, interviewed 10/21, received acceptance 10/22. I hope this helps!
  3. Fact 1! Thank you so much ?
  4. Don’t be nervous! I know it’s easier said than done but I promise it is so laid back and everyone interviewing with you feels the same exact way. Like a couple people mentioned they will send out questions before hand just go over them and be yourself! I finish undergrad in may, but currently my overall GPA is a 3.54 and I had all a’s and b’s in prereqs except for Chemistry I had a c. You can still get accepted if you have things left to finish, your admission to the program will just be contingent upon finishing what they said you need to finish. You got this! I know you can do it, you’ll be right at orientation in may looking back saying this was a breeze, the easy part! ❤️
  5. Hey guys! I interviewed yesterday morning and got accepted today! So excited to meet everyone and get through this together. Good luck to everyone still in the process, I know you can do it ! ?
  6. Hello! I was just accepted today. So excited to meet everyone and get through it together. Best of luck to anyone still in the application process I know you can do it ?
  7. I just got an interview! Mine is set for oct 21, so nervous, but thankful a lot of people on here are giving us information beforehand to help! I came across a thread while searching their name one day that basically was mentioning how there was too many people accepted for the amount of resources they had to offer, people were saying the school didn’t submit something to the state which caused everyone’s time to take the NCLEX to be pushed back for months which affected jobs that people were offered upon graduation, and that instructors were not very helpful and they felt that they were on their own and not given what they needed to be successful in a rigorous program. Now this is just what I was reading from a thread, I’m not sure what has been improved since, but hopefully some of it isn’t true or will get better with the upcoming fall session ? This is my first choice because their program has such great benefits with people looking to become an NP down the road and upon acceptance I would still attend regardless. Plus it is so close to home, I don’t want to relocate. Im not sure if it was on the allnurses site or what, but it was recent that I read it, I’ll look for it again and post a link.
  8. Hey guys! I finished my application September 19, the application was complete September 28, haven’t heard anything yet, but I really hope I do soon. I applied for Fact 1, Center City. I’m from Philly so direct any Philly questions my way if needed ? I’ve gotten into 2 other schools relatively fast so I’m a little worried that I haven’t heard anything from here as this is my first choice. It is however pretty early I guess; 2 weeks since the application was “complete”. But the one school wants a response by October 30 and I don’t want to commit until I hear from Jefferson! Posting stats for future reference if I do get in, I currently have a 3.54 GPA overall, all prereqs completed with A’s and B’s (Chemistry I got a C not sure if that was a prereq here, can’t remember), and a previous background in dentistry. My LOR were from a mathematics professor and an anatomy & physiology/nutrition professor that know me very well. I’m 21 y/o and graduate undergrad with a business degree right before the program start date. So thankful to have this thread to stress with everybody with the same goal, I know we are all going to do great! My other schools didn’t do an interview so I’m very curious as to how Jefferson does things with COVID and all now. Looking forward to all of us getting accepted Has anyone read up on the bad reviews for this program? I hope it has changed since then ?
