  1. Yes. Specifically in the neurodegenerative field
  2. Hi everyone! I'm currently in the midst of applying for entry level master's programs and was wondering how I could find a mentor in the event that I do not get accepted this first round of nursing applications. I've definitely narrowed my scope as far as my specialty for when I do get into a program. I am interested in Pediatrics in the Neuro-Med population. Are there sites out there that can help me find one? I'd love to utilize as many resources as I can to better my chances for the next round. Thanks for all the suggestions in advance!
  3. Hi all! First post, but I've read the whole thread from the beginning... I just want to say thank you for all the input that everyone had! It was nice to see some of the same questions (and emotions...) scattered through this thread. I have a few questions for future and former MDE/DNP (Peds) students: - Does anyone know about out of state tuition costs? Like ballpark? - (Peds) What type of experience does Columbia particularly look for in the peds specialty? (Like, do you need to work with/under an NP directly? Or is any hospital/clinical/medical experience substantial?) - How is everyone doing during this pandemic? Just wanted to spread love and happiness to those taking this pandemic as hard as I am. And who are still actively choosing to push through applications. We got this!!! ❤️
