University of Scranton CRNA 2022 start
@skrn06 @Icurn012345 Hey guys! I am currently in my first year of the CRNA program at Scranton. I saw your comments about the first year of classes being remote. It is only the first semester (Summer) that is remote. We are currently attending in person classes which started this fall. Just wanted to give you a heads up! Best of luck to you both, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! ?

Am I qualified for CRNA school?
@gmc4 what state/schools are you applying to? I feel like it also somewhat depends on this. Some schools within my area (in PA) do not weigh heavily on GPA if you have extra qualifications.

@Covid Cowboy what?! That's pretty crappy, so they let you know if you were accepted or denied right on Christmas? I'm hoping it's only good news for those who are still waiting to hear! Best of luck!

I was waitlisted ? I found out this past Thursday. The email was sent to my junk so make sure to double check if you haven’t received it to your primary inbox. Does anyone know how many are placed on the waitlist?? Good luck to everyone that hasn’t heard yet, keep your hopes up!

@AspiringSRNA No quiz as in years past, all over zoom with the director, Ann Culp, assistant director and clinical director. No interviews with other applicants and currents SRNAs. Don't be nervous! It was very laid back and they are just trying to get to know you, they only ask personally-based questions and are all very nice and make you feel comfortable ?

@KalaiCRNA2020 Questions were all personally-based, they are just trying to get to know you. It was very relaxed and they were all very nice! No reason to stress, they more so just ask questions about your background and why you will be a good fit for their program. My interview was about 20 minutes.

@mera712 Congrats! Best of luck to you. That's crazy, 120?! I know in years past it's been around 60-75 candidates that they've interviewed. Maybe they are able to interview more since it was over zoom and a much shorter amount of time. Now I am even more nervous! LOL

I interviewed on Oct. 9th! I think they had a total of 150 applicants but I don't think they are interviewing all 150. Does anyone know if they are still interviewing candidates? I am pretty sure that we will not find out until mid December but I am hoping that it is sooner!

@RN12014 @SKA0124 Thank you for the insight! I had my interview today and they asked very general personality-based questions and I thought it went very well! They seemed like they're honestly just trying to get to know you as a person to see if you're a good fit for their program. The staff was very friendly and gave positive feedback. @CarribbeanRN They told me that there are a higher number of applicants this year and that they would not be notifying candidates until around mid December in regards to acceptance.

@RN12014 I have an interview for next week! What type of personality-based questions did they ask you? If you don't mind me asking. Also, how long was your interview? Wishing you all the best of luck! Hopefully we will all be future classmates ?
