Is everyone applying already an RN? I take my NCLEX in July. Hoping that's acceptable ?

Just applied today for the ICU/CCU posting. I listed other specialties as my choices in my cover letter and personal statement though. I hope that's what they intended... for the job postings to be a gateway to other potential units.. ? *shrug* That being said, I'd be very happy to start in the ICU. ??

OK, just checked my portal again and it also says "reviewed, alternate selected". Bummer!

Curious if anyone's profile says "closed" at this point? Mine is still "in review".

I have not heard back yet (sadly) but also was told 1-2 weeks from that interview time...which it is far past now.

Haha, nevermind, I emailed ------------------------- and he clarified that less than 6 months on hospital RN experience is OK for the OR Training program. I have two temp job offers and was stressing that I would have to turn them down. Whew! ?

I’m currently #1 on the waitlist for Stan! Just hoping someone chooses CSU Sac when they send out their acceptances in a couple weeks. Very stoked to be so close. Also stoked for whoever will take my place at CSU San Marcos- where I’m currently accepted to. It’s a little wheel of giving and getting we’re all on as each school sends out their acceptances. ?✨

Anyone here still waiting to hear from CSU Long Beach before fully committing to CSUSM? How are you handling the one week bundle purchase deadline for SM? I don’t want to end up buying bundles for both programs ?

I’m expecting to hear from CSU Long Beach within the next two weeks in which case I’d be giving up my San Marcos spot. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is weighing decisions right now - hope that means you’ll get into CSUSM ??????
