Does anyone know how to set up an appointment with a nursing advisor? I had previously set up an appointment with a pre-nursing advisor because next semester will be my second at SHSU so I have an advisory hold. I wanted to change my appointment to a nursing advisor, but I don't see the option on campus connect. @Morgan Rubye Thank you! Just wanted to get an estimate of how long it takes.

Are you taking any classes there this semester or do you mean you just applied as a transfer for the program? I'm also a transfer student right now. I'm taking classes there this semester and I am also an alternate candidate.

Hello, I recently took the HESI and am deciding whether to retake it. My GPA is definitely not the best. I also have a medical assistant certificate, but I don't know if that helps me be competitive. Overall GPA: 3.8 Science GPA: 3.64 HESI Overall: 83.67% Reading comp: 86% Grammar: 84% Math: 92% A&P: 88% Critical thinking: 850
