Does anybody know if Georgia Southern considers ICU step-down (PCU) experience as critical care for their BSN to DNP program? I really don't want to change units just to apply. The only thing we don't do on our unit is intubate or administer pressors.

I only applied to ACE, and I’m hoping that wasn’t a mistake. I wonder how many acceptances have already gone out? Will they send denials as well, or just leave you hanging? Anybody know?

Did she get accepted to ACE or traditional?

I think maybe 20-25 in ACE and the same in traditional, but I don’t know for sure. Somebody on this forum mentioned numbers a while back.

Wow, great stats! Did you apply only to traditional? I can’t imagine you not getting into ACE with your stats and if that’s the case, I’m officially scared.

I think CPR/BLS certifications are good for two years. I would go ahead and handle everything ahead of time that is possible. Especially if you plan to be in healthcare regardless. Same with immunizations and records.

She didn’t say anything other than when decisions would go out.

Just spoke to admissions. They’re expecting to email decisions out the first week of December.
