  1. I know the acceptance letters were due yesterday, the 21st, according to the letter I received. So, I’m unsure if the nursing office will go off that or if alternates get longer if they only have a couple days to accept? I have my fingers crossed for you guys. But maybe a zoom link is a good sign for you both!
  2. Any of our alternates here get in or heard anything about your change in position???
  3. Well now you’re alternate #2, because someone said they were gonna decline their seat because they got into a school closer. Yay
  4. Where your signature would be it would say alternate number _____
  5. Yes. Patience is key here. I mean I’ve waited 4 years for my letter. I almost ran out of patience. But yes. Just show up and see what happens! ? fingers crossed for the other schools you applied to as well. Good luck to those remaining who don’t know what their response is yet.
  6. I wouldn’t worry so much. It’s already week 1 of acceptance letters and you are 20% closer to a spot. Last semester at least 7 people did not choose their seat for a leave of absence or they get in to a school closer to them or they get in to the school they wanted. Most people are not on this site, assuming. I don’t know how you will be notified of a seat opening up for you. I am going to assume it will be a phone call. However, your letter says to be aware of all dates and deadlines if you want to keep your seat. Do you have those?
  7. Lauryn, I have been trying to get into a program for 4 years. However I had a very difficult road to get there. Do not get discouraged. I know it’s disappointing , but you are so young and way ahead of the game! You are right on the cusp of competitiveness. What areas are/were you lacking for your application?
  8. Luna and fortuna! Hello fellow classmate! I also received my acceptance letter. I had 80.2 points and a 90.2 on the TEAS exam. I look forward to meeting you all via zoom! For those still waiting. I wish you luck!
  9. My friend got in last semester as alternate 7. Maybe you will. I’m not sure. It depends on how many people accept their spots I believe. But you still gotta do all the stuff as if you were selected.
  10. Anyone else get a letter? I saw a comment that someone got a letter but the comment isn’t here anymore.
  11. COS had 450 applications. Do not be discouraged about not getting in. Email and inquire about why you did not get in. The will tell you. They also verify everything so if anything was wrong you get deducted points from the total you believe you had, that happened to me last semester. I have been applying since the application of Spring 2017. Its crazy to me to think that just a few years ago people would get in with just mid 50s in points. I wish you all luck!
  12. She loves it but hates the online learning. Just to put it simply.
  13. So looking back 2 semesters ago my sister got accepted on the 14th, her friend received her results on the 19th. Last semester I’m not sure. I’m getting nervous just waiting.
