Hello, I am interested in becoming an Urgent Care nurse. I have no experience in emergency medicine but I feel like it would be a better fit for me. However, I feel unprepared... ER/UC nurses, I would love your input on a day to day. What are some things that I can study to be more knowledgeable. What medications to know... What are somethings I can expect to see? What is best to do in certain situations? Obviously you won't see the same thing every day, but I would love something to start off so I don't feel like I'm drowning when I'm first starting. Any help/information is greatly appreciated.
