  1. Hello! If anyone who has taken ROTC could give their input that would be greatly appreciated! I'm about to start my second semester of nursing school but I was just approached about joining another school's ROTC program. I already planned on joining after I finished my BSN so the opportunity seems kinda great! What I'm worried about is not having enough time to do both... I'm not exactly sure how demanding and time-consuming the ROTC program is. When I Google it most people said it was an easy A but I'm not sure if those people were also nursing students. So would it be doable to take on nursing school and ROTC? Do you think ROTC is even worth it? Would it make my commissioning any easier when I finish school?
  2. @RobdRN I would think your healthcare recruiter could get it for you. I have looked all over the web and I cant find anything posted for the public to see.
  3. Awesome! Let us know how it goes. ?
  4. Thats alot of credit behind but you should just apply anyways! you could be put on the alternate list and maybe get picked up later. I think they have picked up 50 alternates already for the fall term. No hurt in applying while finishing your classes
  5. I picked mornings, I just think I'm more productive in the morning ? My tops picks were St. Pete Gen and the VA. I also think we are getting our orientation email today!
  6. Did you guys pick mostly mornings or afternoons?
  7. My friend that was in the SPC Respiratory Therapy program and said they tell us that stuff In orientation, which I think for us is on the 20th. I plan on going to the health department to get my shots/records and physical. People on the SPC Fall 2021 facebook page also said you can get physicals at SPC (HEC) 66th street.
  8. Its when you click on the "Notice of Intent Survey" and tell them that you want to do the program and you pick your preferred hospitals/times
  9. I just went and got my first dose of the Covid shot today from Publix. The email says you have to have both doses done 2 weeks prior to starting. You also have to wait 2 weeks in-between each shot, so that would mean you need to get the first dose at lease 4 weeks before we start. They aren't giving us much time seeing how school starts in Aug
  10. Congrats! cant wait to meet everyone
  11. Yes!! Keep trying, this is my second try at the program. If you didn't make it in just try to retake some classes and then reapply.
  12. Me too ? Congrats everyone!
  13. I got an email!
  14. Are we all sure we got the day right ???
  15. Im scared to go to lunch and miss it ?
